一世代置＿レ之 《割書：一世は通幼なり永徳年中のものと見ゆ｜近江より下総に運ひ来れるなるへし》
【碑文】下馬
【碑の左】四尺三寸許
【碑の台】一尺二寸
【碑の下側】
山城ノ井堤ノ
辺ニモ下馬石
アリト山州名跡
志ニ見ユ
伏￣テ以￣レハ 為￣ニ＿二本慶良然
大姉￣ノ＿一奉￣リ＿三造立￣シ＿二這￣ハ 塔
様￣ヲ＿一以￣テ至心￣ニ合＿二掌￣シ之￣ヲ＿一【「ラ」は誤記ヵ】至
心￣ニ恭＿二敬￣ス之￣ヲ＿一御願是￣レ地
依￣リ善￣ク巧￣ニ速￣キ＿二菩提￣ヲ＿一到￣ンコト＿二彼
岸￣ニ＿一必￣フ【「ス」とあるところ】信《割書：也》良￣ヤ久￣ク而白￣ス
中在￣リ＿二黄金＿一充￣ツ＿二 一国￣ニ＿一

小笠原左衛門佐碑
碑高一丈許
空 風 火 水 地
外（ほか）一基（いつき）に為＿二正山端雲居士＿一とあり
左右（さいう）文字（もんし）分明（ふんみやう）ならす
現代語訳
《割書：左側》
一世代之を置く 《割書：一世は通幼なり永徳年中のものと見える｜近江より下総に運び来たのであろう》

山城の井堤の辺にも下馬石があると山州名跡志に見える
伏して以て本慶良然大姉のために、この塔様を造立し奉り、至心に合掌してこれを至心に恭敬す。御願いはこの地により善巧速やかに菩提を得て彼岸に到らんことを必ず信ず。良や久しく而して中に黄金在りて一国に充つ。
于時寛永十八年《割書：辛巳》卯月吉辰

左右の文字は分明でない

Humbly, for the sake of the great sister Honkei Ryōzen, we respectfully erected this pagoda, joining our palms with sincere hearts and reverently honoring it. Our prayer is that through this place, she may skillfully and swiftly attain enlightenment and surely reach the other shore. How excellent and enduring - with gold within, filling the entire province.
