以上ハ 同寺（どうじ）持仏（ぢふつ）阿弥陀如来（あみだによらいの）木像（もくさう）識（しき）《割書：丈ヶ一尺二寸》

敬白
謹んで阿弥陀
如来《割書：ならびに》二菩薩像を刻彫し奉る
その造像の意趣は
平朝臣親胤眼阿
弥陀仏のために速やかに仏果を証得せんとし
ここに則ち三有の繋縛を離れ■女
執を速やかに安養の無垢浄土に至らしめ
疑いなきものなり よって法界普利のため
下総国印東荘佐倉
長徳寺開山眼阿
仏師浄慶
時に永禄八年丑七月十四日
鹿島郷印旛郡において
これを彫る

Respectfully stated
Humbly carved the Amida

The intention of creating these images is that
Taira-no-Ason Chikatane Ganā
For Amida Buddha to quickly attain Buddhahood
Hereby to depart from the bonds of the three realms ■ female
To swiftly reach the pure land of Anyo (Sukhāvatī) free from defilement
Without doubt. Therefore for the universal benefit of the dharma realm
Sōmo Province, Intō Manor, Sakura
Chōtoku-ji temple founder Ganā
