里見義通は永正十八年に高城越前守胤広を討ち、胤広父子とその臣である畔蒜彦五郎、田島図書助等が討死したことは、本土寺過去帳や里見系図等に記されている。後にこの地は北条氏に奪われたと見える。
府中六所とあることにより、この地方が国府であったことは明瞭である。

Satomi Yoshimichi defeated Takagi Echizen no Kami Tanehiro in the 18th year of Eishō, and Tanehiro and his son, along with their retainers Abiru Hikogoro and Tajima Tosho no Suke, were killed in battle. This is recorded in the Hondo-ji temple death register and Satomi family genealogies. Later, this territory appears to have been taken by the Hōjō clan.
The reference to "Fuchū Rokusho" makes it clear that this area was the provincial capital (kokufu).
