職事以大輔僧正上智
跡所被補任也者仰旨

此文書は或人の所蔵なれと何方より
写せしにや出所を記さゝれは分明ならす
且原本と写の文字も違ひしやしるよし
なしされと河内の金剛寺文書を写せる
後にあれは是も同寺の所蔵にや原書を
見ん人正してよ○正和五年より元享元年ま
ては僅に六年なり鐘銘の智円と云し僧は
此上智の跡なるへし上智と云智円と
云も因あることに覚ゆ○左馬権頭は
高時也武蔵守は金沢貞顕也

この文書はある人の所蔵であるが、どこから

また原本と写しの文字も違っているかもしれない。
しかし河内の金剛寺文書を写した
後にあるので、これも同寺の所蔵であろうか。原書を
見る人が正してほしい。○正和五年から元享元年まで
はわずかに六年である。鐘銘の智円という僧は
この上智の跡継ぎであろう。上智といい智円と
いうのも因縁あることと思われる。○左馬権頭は
高時である。武蔵守は金沢貞顕である。

Regarding the appointment to succeed
Monk Superior Jōchi in the position of
Head Priest of Katsushika Hachiman Shrine in Shimousa Province.
This is as ordered.
Therefore, this is hereby executed and completed.

【Lower Section】
This document is in someone's possession, but since
the source from which it was copied is not recorded, its origin is unclear.
Moreover, the characters in the original and the copy may also differ.
However, since it appears after copies of documents from Kongōji Temple in Kawachi,
perhaps this is also in the possession of the same temple. Those who
examine the original should make corrections. ○From Shōwa 5th year to Genkō 1st year
is merely six years. The monk called Chien in the bell inscription
was probably the successor to this Jōchi. Both the names Jōchi and Chien
seem to have some connection. ○The Assistant Head of Left Horses is
Takatoki. The Governor of Musashi is Kanazawa Sadaaki.
