常快山勝胤寺　大佐倉村にある。寺領二十石《割書：天正十九年辛卯十一月》禅宗曹洞派、土室の祥鳳院の末寺である。本尊は釈迦如来。開基は享禄元年、千葉介勝胤《割書：天文二十一年五月二十一日死去》。開山は華翁祖芳和尚《割書：天文二十年十一月八日示寂》。境内には千葉家代々の墓碑が数基ある。勝胤以来のものであろう。刻字がないので、その詳細は分からない。庭内に小池があり、千葉水と号する。一本の古松があり、これを覆っている。《割書：当時寺領七十五貫文が付けられたとのことで、残欠の古帳簿に載せると佐倉風土記に見える》

Jōkai-san Shōin-ji Temple　Located in Ōsakura Village. Temple holdings of 20 koku {{Marginal note: Tenshō 19th year, metal rabbit, 11th month}} Zen sect, Sōtō school, subsidiary temple of Shōhō-in of Tsuchimuro. Principal deity is Shakyamuni Buddha. Founded in Kyōroku 1st year by Chiba no suke Katsutane {{Marginal note: died Tenbun 21st year, 5th month, 21st day}}. Founding priest was Kaō Sohō Oshō {{Marginal note: passed away Tenbun 20th year, 11th month, 8th day}}. Within the temple grounds are several grave markers of successive generations of the Chiba family. They are presumably from Katsutane onward. Since there are no carved inscriptions, the details cannot be known. Within the garden is a small pond called Chiba-sui (Chiba Water). There is an ancient pine tree that covers it. {{Marginal note: At that time, temple holdings of 75 kan-mon were granted, as recorded in fragmentary old ledgers according to the Sakura Fudoki}}
