現代語訳
寛文十年庚戌（1670年）の夷則の月（陰暦7月）に、過去帳の記述によると、天文二十三年甲寅（1554年）七月吉日に、浄泉院に寄進された粟飯原イナの胤満が開基として寄附した本尊について、その後世のために背面に漆で文字が書き付けられていたとあるが、現在はその差し込み部分がない。

ここに過去帳や佐倉風土記などに挙げられている識語の付いた差し込み物があったのであろう。
英語訳
In the 10th year of Kanbun, year of the Metal Dog (1670), in the month of Kisoku (7th lunar month), according to the records in the death register, on an auspicious day in the 7th month of Tenbun 23, year of the Wood Tiger (1554), regarding the principal Buddha statue donated to Jōsen-in Temple by Tanemitsu of Awaihara Ina as the founding patron, it states that text was written in lacquer on the back for the benefit of future generations, but currently there is no insertion piece.

The back of the pedestal has an inscription as shown in the diagram. Myōkan might be the mother of Tanemitsu.
