御宝龕引続て御印文前立本尊
の御宝龕錦帳あたりを暉し幾数
しれぬ諸人は此時ならて何鹿御仏の御宝輦を
搔奉らんとて無勿体も不浄もろんせす御輿に
取付一心称名唱へ宛感涙してそ供奉し
たる真先なるは御朱印長持警固前
後を打守護厳重にこそ見にける是を
見上て数万の人〳〵すはや御堂も危
かいかなる時節の到来して今社此世の
滅するかかゝる苦患の今の世に生合たる

現代語訳

御宝龕が引き続き、御印文、前立本尊の御宝龕、錦帳のあたりを照らし、数知れぬ多くの人々は「この時でなければ、いつ御仏の御宝輦をお担ぎ申し上げられようか」として、もったいなくも不浄も論じずに御輿に取り付き、一心に称名を唱え、さながら感涙してそれに供奉した。その真っ先にあるのは御朱印の長持で、警固が前後を厳重に守護しているのが見えた。これを見上げて数万の人々は「さあ、御堂も危ない。いかなる時節の到来で、今こそこの世が滅するのか。このような苦患の今の世に生まれ合わせたことよ」。

○宝永四年亥八月十三日、今の御堂へ入仏なさってより、今弘化四年にて百四十四年にして御立退である。

英語訳

The sacred shrine cases continued in procession, illuminating the area around the official documents, the front-standing principal Buddha's shrine case, and the brocade curtains. Countless people thought, "If not now, when else could we carry the Buddha's sacred palanquin?" Without regard for propriety or ritual purity, they grasped the portable shrine, chanted the nembutsu with single-minded devotion, and followed it with tears of deep emotion. At the very front were the long storage boxes containing the shogunal vermillion seal documents, with guards strictly protecting the front and rear. Seeing this, tens of thousands of people exclaimed, "Now the main hall is also in danger! What kind of era has arrived that this world should perish now? To have been born into such a world of suffering!"

○From the 13th day of the 8th month of Hōei 4 (year of the boar), when the Buddha statue was enshrined in the current main hall, until now in Kōka 4, it has been 144 years, and now comes the evacuation.
