おゝそれありや有明の月もくまなく初霜を
照すもよしや善光の御寺の鐘の時なく年〳〵
歳〳〵花相似歳々年々同じうして頭に雪は積
れとも暮行歳をはしらぬかほ詩仏老人の
筆すさび信中第一楼と書遺されしも
実にや此仮寝ヶ岡の様なるへし過にし頃
此辺りなる農夫畑を耕て金色なる毘沙門天
の尊像を得たり爰に本城かりねか岡は寅の
かたにあたり尊天幸ひの縁によりまた鬼門
相当の里なれは爰に一宇を建立し尊像を

奉遷るに日にまし霊験あらたなれは秘仏に
崇奉り常に前立の尊容を諸人に社は
拝せしむれ年連〳〵にしておのつから
奉納あまたありけるにや愛染菅公稲荷
の堂社勧請あり石檀下りし平地には彼の
楼におきて諸先生書画【畫】の会合を催し
常に会席を商ふにて長閑なる春の
日より冬は雪見にころぶまて四季
おり〳〵の風流を御開帳盛んのころ
ほひはさてこそは花にあらめと地震

ああ、それがあったか。有明の月も隈なく初霜を照らすのもよいものだ。善光寺の鐘の音は絶えることなく、年々歳々花は似ており、歳々年々同じようにして、頭に雪は積もれども、暮れ行く歳を知らない顔をしている。詩仏老人の筆の戯れに「信中第一楼」と書き残されたのも、まことにこの仮寝ヶ岡のような様子であろう。

過ぎし頃、この辺りの農夫が畑を耕していて、金色の毘沙門天の尊像を得た。ここに本城（松本城）から仮寝ヶ岡は寅の方角（東北）にあたり、尊天の幸いの縁によって、また鬼門に相当する里なので、ここに一宇を建立し尊像を

Ah, there it was! The dawn moon illuminates the first frost completely and clearly - how wonderful it is. Some time ago, a farmer in this area was tilling his field when he discovered a golden statue of Bishamonten. Since Karene-ga-oka lies in the direction of the tiger (northeast) from the main castle (Matsumoto Castle), and through the fortunate connection with the venerable deity, and since this village corresponds to the demon gate (unlucky direction), they built a temple here and enshrined the statue.

As they enshrined it, day by day the miraculous efficacy became more manifest, so they worship it as a secret Buddha, while always allowing people to worship the regularly displayed sacred image. As the years accumulated, naturally there were many offerings, and shrines to Aizen Myoo, Sugawara no Michizane, and Inari were solicited and built.
