**[Fifth Day]**
One item: Regarding the delivery of ceremonial robes (shōzoku) to the riding attendants (norizuri), the head priests (kannushi), those at the foot of the south steps (minami-kaidan-shimo), and the onmyōji (yin-yang diviners) on the fifth day:
Since the circular notice (kaijō) is distributed by the shōzoku-bugyō (robe administrators) on the preceding day, the daikan (deputy officials) are not involved in this matter.
One item: Immediately after breakfast, the shōzoku-bugyō (Norihisa and Toshiyasu), the former daikan, Yasuhiro, and the current daikan — four persons in total (three wearing jōe [plain white robes], one wearing ō-katabira [a large summer robe]) — along with four porters, shall proceed as soon as they arrive to request the key to the Chōya (administrative building) from the shoshi (shrine official). At this time, one of the three initial riders (hatsunori) who has a custodial role shall instruct the porters to remove the latticed shutters (shitomi) above the cut board (kiriban), both upper and lower. Then the shōzoku-bugyō and two daikan shall proceed to the Takakura (high storehouse) to bring out the robe boxes. Four long chests (nagabitsu) containing the robes from the first day, along with one additional chest, shall also be brought out at the same time. Additionally, the robe boxes for those at the foot of both staircases and the onmyōji shall be transported by the porters to the Chōya. The former daikan and shōzoku-bugyō shall break the seals, and the robe boxes shall be arranged in two rows of left and right, as is customary in previous years (left side to the south, right side to the north). However, the right-side first-rank robes shall be set up in the main hall (omoya). Once the arrangement is complete, the porters shall be instructed to ring the bell at the Jinguji (shrine temple). At that time, all the riding attendants shall gather and receive each item after inspection. After this is completed, two daikan wearing jōe shall place the sashifu (assignment documents), inkstones, and other items on a square tray (kakuban) and bring them before the left-side first-rank riding attendant and the right-side second-rank riding attendant, and each shall duly submit them in order (the right-side first rank shall submit last).
Next, the Shoshidai Tsunonori (wearing jōe, carrying paper) and the Mokudai Yozetsukenu (wearing jōe, carrying an inkstone) shall both step forward together.
