英語訳
[Continued from the previous page] — possibly to be handed over.
One entry: Nine naka-ori (medium-sized folded cypress-wood containers) per set, twelve ko-ori (small folded cypress-wood containers) per set, twenty-four fuchi-daka (lacquered tiered trays with raised rims) per set, seven lid boards (futa-ita) per set, one koi-oshi-ita (carp-pressing board) per set, one hatsuri-ita (shaving/trimming board), approximately twenty kami-tate-ita (paper-standing boards), and fifteen large and small kiri-komi-ita (incised boards) are brought to the chōya (administrative office building) by the himonoshi (craftsmen specializing in cypress-wood vessels).
One entry: One cut of nusa-kinu (sacred silk offering cloth) per set is brought by the go-kan (officials of the five shrines). (From the Kawakamigō: from the head priest [kannagi]; from Ōmiya: from the chief negi [shō-negi]; from Koyama: from the chief hafuri [shō-hafuri]; from Okamoto: from the assistant hafuri [gon-hafuri].)
One entry: Two awls (kiri) per set are brought and delivered by the sakusho-bugyō (works/construction magistrate).
One entry: Two shō of saku (a type of rice confection/puffed grain) are placed by the rirō (elder official) into approximately two wicker baskets (futa-mi), brought in an o-hitsu (lidded wooden rice container), which is returned immediately afterward. Two oko-dake (bamboo sticks used in ritual) per set: those for Kawakamigō and Nakamuragō are provided by the village (gōkata), while those for Ōmiya, Koyama, and Okamoto are provided by the ko-zukai (junior attendants/errand runners). The oko-dake are brought later by those who carry the o-tana (sacred shelf-bearers).
Method of Distribution
(Two portions of ō-uchi are to be handed over to the o-tana bearers.)
One entry: Regarding the shin-ku (sacred food offerings) of the main shrine (hon-gū): beginning with the ceremony of arranging items on the zen-bu (dining trays/meal service), the o-tana-kaki (sacred shelf bearers) are summoned, and the affair of the kago-o-tana (basket/palanquin-style sacred shelf) is carried out.
One entry: For the portion belonging to the small shrines (ko-sha): five gō of go-ryō ko-ori (small folded containers for the sacred portion) are brought by the toneri (attendants) who come to receive them from the sō-bugyō (general magistrate), and these are handed over. (Kawakamigō receives five ko-ori; each of the remaining four villages receives four.)
One entry: As the portion for the o-yasumi-aida (rest/interval period), one naka-ori and one go-hei (sacred wand) are handed over by calling upon the jinmin (shrine-affiliated lay persons/ritual participants) who organize the ceremony for that particular village.
