[野芍薬（ノシャクヤク）《3月に花が咲く》]
花も葉も共に芍薬に似ている。紅白の2種類があり、どちらも見事である。

[射干（シャガ）《2、3月に花が咲く》]
花の形は小さな蝶が飛んでいるようで、薄紫と白の2種類がある。葉に筋が入っているものもある。

[仙台萩（センダイハギ）《3月に花が咲く》]
花は本来黄色で、豆の花に似ている。葉は萩の葉のようであるが、葉先が尖っている。

[紫白根葵] 花の形は芙蓉のようである。外側は紫色で内側は白い。葉は普通の葵に似ているが先が尖っており、立銭葵のように花は横向きに俯く。花は一重で、4月に花が咲く。

The leaves resemble ordinary hollyhock but are pointed at the tips, and like standing coin hollyhock, the flowers droop sideways. The flowers are single-petaled and bloom in the 4th month.
