又被相尋云東照宮薨去之時御馬被献
候哉之事弥不分明候哉大猷院様御時ハ
弥不被献候哉女三宮様御時ハ御馬被献候儀不分
明候哉右之儀も先日之通ニ候哉と被尋仍而
其通ニ候由申然者其通書付可差置と取
次被申ニ付惣代両人当座ニ書付被出云々其趣
東照宮様
元和二年四月十七日御薨去御所司御馬
被献候哉勘出不仕候
大猷院様
慶安四年四月廿日五御薨去御所司御馬
不被献候御役人お御出被遊候

お願い申し上げる旨、先達て申し上げた御事に御座候

旨を仰せ渡された
【小文字】二十六日に惣代佐平聖顕が書き上げる
また尋ねられたのは「東照宮薨去の時に御馬を献上されたか」
の事、やはり不分明でしょうか。大猷院様の御時は
やはり献上されなかったでしょうか。女三宮様の御時は御馬を献上された儀が不分
明でしょうか。右の儀も先日の通りでしょうかと尋ねられ、よって
その通りである旨申し上げた。そうであればその通り書付を差し置くべきと取
次が申したので、惣代両人がその場で書付を提出した云々。その趣旨は

【In small characters】On the 26th, representative Sahei Shōken wrote this up
Also, we were asked: "When Tōshō-gū passed away, were horses offered?"
This matter also remains unclear. During the time of Daiyū-in,
were horses indeed not offered? During the time of Princess Onna-san-no-miya, whether horses were offered
remains unclear. Were these matters also as reported the other day? we were asked, therefore
we replied that it was as stated. Then the intermediary said that a written statement should be
submitted accordingly, so both representatives immediately submitted a written statement, etc. The content was:
Tōshō-gū
Died on April 17th, Genna 2 [1616], whether horses were
offered to the Imperial Court office, we could not investigate
Daiyū-in
Died on April 20th, Keian 4 [1651], horses were
not offered to the Imperial Court office. Officials came out
