  事自当年停止之旨被触之 《割書:階下乗尻等奉幣雨儀作法之事|》【朱書】  一五日階下乗尻奉幣依雨儀雨儀之作法也   各着座于御札屋《割書:以東|為上》乗尻奉幣於御   札屋有之階下奉幣入自屏中門昇自祝   詞屋之東辺於祝詞屋有之前々皆如此作   法也近日元禄十五年ニも如此   当年乗尻庁屋座神供直会之時乱緒可   脱哉否前方ゟ有僉議不一決当年ハ(一番左)重達   計被脱其外ハ何モ被着乱緒神供直会也雨   儀故泥藁沓昇殿之間各前ヨリ座ニ着   事ナラス各後ヨリ被着也但去年去々年ハ 《割書:右方階下称所労不着庁座事|》【朱書】   各被脱乱緒云々階下左ハ着庁座右ハ乗尻   不脱乱緒事依無同心所労之由届有之上不   着庁座退下      左 従四位 下清(河内守)先    階下      右 従五位 下氏(下野守)睦  享(〽[朱])保三年  五日   当年ハ乗尻廿人共於庁座神供直礼之時不脱

事は当年より停止する旨が触れられた。 《割書:階下乗尻等の奉幣雨儀作法の事》【朱書】  一 五日、階下乗尻の奉幣は雨のため雨儀の作法である。   各々御札屋《割書:東を上とする》に着座し、乗尻の奉幣は御   札屋にて行われる。階下の奉幣は屏中門より入り、祝   詞屋の東辺より昇り、祝詞屋にて行われる。前々からみなこのような作   法である。近年では元禄十五年にもこのようであった。   当年、乗尻が庁屋に座し神供直会の時、乱緒を   脱ぐべきか否か、前方より議論があったが一決しなかった。当年は(一番左の)重達   のみが脱ぎ、その外は何も着けたまま乱緒で神供直会を行った。雨   儀のため泥や藁沓で昇殿する間、各々前より座に着く   ことはならず、各々後より着いた。ただし去年・去々年は 《割書:右方階下が所労を称して庁座に着かない事》【朱書】   各々乱緒を脱いだという。階下の左は庁座に着いたが、右は乗尻が   乱緒を脱がないことに同心しないため、所労の由を届け出て   庁座に着かず退下した。      左 従四位下 清(河内守)先    階下      右 従五位下 氏(下野守)睦  享(〽[朱])保三年  五日   当年は乗尻二十人共に庁座における神供直礼の時、脱が

this matter was announced to be prohibited from this year. 《Marginal note: Regarding the ritual procedures for offerings by kaidanka riders during rainy weather》【Written in red】  One: On the 5th day, the offerings by kaidanka riders followed the rainy weather ritual procedures due to rain.   Each person took their seat in the ofuda-ya (talisman house)《Marginal note: with east as the upper position》, and the riders' offerings took place   in the ofuda-ya. The kaidanka offerings entered through the byōchū gate and ascended from the eastern side   of the norito-ya (prayer house), taking place in the norito-ya. This has been the procedure   since long ago. In recent years, it was the same in Genroku 15th year as well.   This year, when the riders sat in the chō-ya (office building) for the divine offering banquet, there was   debate from the front regarding whether or not to remove the ranso (ceremonial cords), but no decision was reached. This year, only (the leftmost) Shigetatsu   removed them, while all others kept them on for the divine offering banquet wearing ranso. Due to the rainy   weather ritual, while ascending the hall with muddy straw sandals, each person could not take their seat from the front   but instead took their positions from the rear. However, in the previous year and the year before that, 《Marginal note: The right-side kaidanka claiming illness and not taking their seat in the chō-za》【Written in red】   each person removed their ranso. The left-side kaidanka took their seat in the chō-za, but the right-side rider   did not agree with not removing the ranso, so claiming illness as the reason,   did not take their seat in the chō-za and withdrew.
