天和二（壬戌）年五月五日の競馬で神主保可と階下との勝負について定論となることがあり、この年より神主は庁屋の座に着かず直接退出するようになった。当年は応平が庁座に着いた。

《割書：階下が庁屋において神供直会の時に帯剣するか否かのこと》【朱書】
一、存直・清達等が庁屋における神供直会の時、保覚が清達に言うには「この時は帯剣すべきではない」と申したため、清達も同様に解剣した。清茂が言うには「古来帯剣してきたことを私意をもって改めることは甚だ失礼である。帯剣すべき職である。たとえ神供直会の席であっても解剣すべきであろうか。大中納言並びに四府督その他武官の帯剣すべき職の者は、天子の御前においてもなお帯剣している。そうであるならば神供において
