一於三番之番者左方居負ニ付階下ゟ其趣申入
処左方保伸代教顕承引無之冠頭音等不合間
入直ニて可有之旨被申乍然於右方恒氏者
冠頭音等も合候ニ付勝ニ而有之旨被申依
之左右方雖及違乱出シ口肝煎中ゟハ音合
候由被申ニ付其通決定之処右方乗尻左
階下幄へ被乗着兎角不居負旨段々被申得
心無之間氏基を以着座へも相談有之処神
主応平云彼是違乱有之時者神事之滞ニ
相成其上左方ハ代参右方ハ直参之儀ニ候得
者代参之輩ゟ被退可然旨被申ニ付右之
趣乗尻へも申入一決了

階下の奉幣は覧間戸の外縁東角から昇って入り、覧間戸において祝詞屋にて行われた。
一 当社伝奏万里小路大納言植房卿が御見物のため御出でになった。
【三番左居負の件について納得いかない事】【朱書】
一 三番の番において左方が居負となったことについて、階下よりその旨を申し入れたところ、左方の保伸代教顕は承引せず、冠頭音等が合わない間は入直であるべき旨を申した。しかし右方の恒氏は冠頭音等も合っているので勝ちであると申したため、左右方で違乱となった。出口肝煎中からは音は合っていると申されたので、その通り決定したところ、右方が乗尻して左階下の幄へ乗り着いた。とにかく居負ではない旨を段々申されたが納得がいかないので、氏基を以て着座へも相談があった。神主応平が言うには、あれこれ違乱があるときは神事の滞りとなり、その上左方は代参、右方は直参の儀であるので、代参の輩より退くのが然るべきと申されたため、右の趣を乗尻へも申し入れて一決した。

【Matter of dissatisfaction regarding the third match left side's loss】【Written in red ink】
One: Regarding the left side's loss in the third match, when the lower rank officials reported this matter, the left side's representative Kyoken (for Yasunobu) did not accept it, stating that since the cap sounds did not match, it should be a draw. However, the right side's Tsuneuji claimed victory, saying their cap sounds matched properly. This led to a dispute between left and right sides. The exit supervisors stated that the sounds did match, so it was decided accordingly. The right side performed the horseback ceremony and rode to the left side's lower rank pavilion. They repeatedly insisted it was not a loss, but as this was not accepted, consultation was held with the seated officials through Ujimoto. Head Priest Ōhei said that when such disputes arise, it causes delays in the sacred rituals, and moreover, since the left side sent a representative while the right side participated directly, it would be proper for the representative party to withdraw. This matter was conveyed to the horseback participant and the issue was resolved.
