現代語訳
一 二番の番の儀について、大概は持（引き分け）のように見えたが、右方【二番の右追乗も出なかったため負けと定められたところ、負けではないと申し立て、ついに持となった子細の事】の追乗も一向に出ず、殊に頓宮の辺りで馬が居住したため、左方勝ち、右方負けと階下より相定めたところ、右方の乗尻が幄へ乗り付けられ、階下より負けの由を申し渡されたが、負けではない旨を申し立て、下馬もせず長らく違乱に及んだ。よって惣奉行中より神事の滞りにもなるので持にするのが然るべきかとの旨申し来たため、階下より返答に、とかく階下からは負けと相定めたが、神事の滞りにもなるならば、その上はいかようとも然るべき旨申したため、持にて事が相済んだ。
