箇所者一向届無之其後倭文馬替り候時も右
同前ニ而代官中へ計被相届旨也依之代官衆之
内清福入来于私宅届之ケ所尋ニ付去ル寛保
三年五月四日安志之馬貴布祢祝代官之馬等
替り候時届之ヶ所等故産幸被記置之趣
を以及返答者也其趣者馬替時者馬所ゟ
其馬之乗尻并相手之馬所乗尻等へ相届次代
官へ相届候儀也代官ゟハ神主以下十九ヶ所之
馬所乗尻廿人所司大夫等へ届儀也但乗尻
廿人之儀ハ先初乗三人へ相届入魂之上承知之
時者悉不及届旨有之者也今度馬所ゟ届無
之事後日ニ而も申入先格之趣覚悟有之様ニ
致度者也且又此度乗尻中へ代官ゟ届之儀者
初乗中へ被申入処於庁屋参集之上被申入ニ付

現代語訳
箇所は一向に届け出がなく、その後倭文が馬を替えた時も右と同様に代官中へのみ届け出た旨である。これにより代官衆の内、清福が私宅に入来して届け出の箇所について尋ねたため、去る寛保三年五月四日、安志の馬、貴布祢祝代官の馬等が替わった時の届け出の箇所等について、故産幸が記し置いた趣旨をもって返答したのである。その趣旨は、馬を替える時は馬所からその馬の乗尻並びに相手の馬所乗尻等へ届け出て、次に代官へ届け出ることである。代官からは神主以下十九ヶ所の馬所乗尻二十人、所司大夫等へ届け出ることである。ただし乗尻二十人の件については、まず初乗三人へ届け出て相談の上、承知の
時はことごとく届け出る必要がない旨があるのである。今度馬所から届け出がなかったことについて、後日でも申し入れ、先例の趣旨を覚悟があるようにしたいものである。また今度、乗尻中へ代官から届け出た件については、初乗中へ申し入れたところ、庁屋において参集の上申し入れたため、乗尻中がああだこうだと申し分があったことである。《割書：清足翁日記》

The relevant parties made no notification whatsoever, and later when Shidori replaced his horse, it was done in the same manner with notification only to the deputies. Consequently, among the deputy group, Seifuku came to my residence and inquired about the notification procedures. In response, I replied based on the records left by the late Sankō regarding the notification procedures when the horses of Anshi, Kibune festival deputy officials, and others were replaced on the 4th day of the 5th month of Kanpō 3rd year. The procedure is as follows: when replacing horses, the horse office notifies the riders of that horse and the riders of the opposing horse office, then notifies the deputies. The deputies notify the head priest and nineteen other horse office riders (twenty people in total), as well as the ceremonial officials. However, regarding the twenty riders, the procedure is to first notify the three lead riders and consult with them, and when they acknowledge,
it is not necessary to notify everyone. Regarding the fact that there was no notification from the horse office this time, I would like to make a submission even at a later date to ensure awareness of precedent procedures.
