現代語訳
調法之由故小振一返為改令番者也尤ケ様之
時者一遅ゟ可被相改儀ニ候得共大雨且及晩景
候故加了簡右之通ニ取計者也
調法ではないとのことで、小振を一返改めて番をさせたものである。もっともこのような時は一遅から改めるべきであったが、大雨でかつ夕暮れになったため、簡略にして右の通りに取り計らったものである。

《割書：出口において鐙左右共落ち鐙なしに馳せること》【朱書】
素走の時、出口において鐙二つとも落ち、鐙なしに馳せ終えた。しかしこのような時は引き止め、鐙をかけて馳せ直すべきことであろうか。

incompetent, so the small movements were reformed for one round of races. Ordinarily in such cases, corrections should be made from the first delay, but due to heavy rain and the approaching evening, it was handled in a simplified manner as described above.
