一所司代御馬素馳了即時両雑掌埒内を上へ歩
行之処今年ゟ素馳相済次第所司代御桟敷へ
恐悦可申上旨被申渡ニ付社中相談之上素馳
相済埒外ゟ御桟敷へ恐悦申上了埒末ゟ入御馬
案内可致申旨也仍右之通被相勤候也
一三番之番ゟ小振略之儀例年評定之内壱人
御所屋へ被参此段神主へ被得御意之処今年
者素襖を以此段申来依之例与例与相違如何可有
之哉之旨所司代後見ゟ神主へ及相談之処
例之通評席之仁被参候様申遣可然旨故右
之趣申遣之処追付評定之内応直被来例之通

現代語訳
一 所司代御馬の素馳が終了すると、即座に両雑掌が埒内を上へ歩
行したところ、今年から素馳が相済み次第、所司代の御桟敷へ
恐悦を申し上げるようにとの旨が申し渡されたため、社中で相談の上、素馳が
相済んだ後、埒外から御桟敷へ恐悦を申し上げ終了し、埒末から入って御馬の
案内をいたす旨である。よって右の通り相勤められた。
一 三番の番から小振略の儀について、例年評定の内の一人が
御所屋へ参られ、この段を神主へ御意を得られたところ、今年
は素襖をもってこの段を申し来たため、例年と相違があるのではないか
という旨を所司代後見から神主へ相談したところ、
例の通り評席の人が参られるよう申し遣わすのがよろしいとのことで、右の
趣を申し遣わしたところ、追って評定の内の応直が来られ、例の通り
神主へ御意を得た。

左方の奉幣が終了し、忌子屋において右方の奉幣が相済んだ時、

1. Upon completion of the Deputy Administrator's horse素馳 (preliminary gallop), immediately both minor administrators walked up through the barrier area. From this year forward, it was decreed that as soon as the preliminary gallop is completed, respectful congratulations should be offered at the Deputy Administrator's viewing stand. After consultation within the shrine community, following the completion of the preliminary gallop, respectful congratulations were offered at the viewing stand from outside the barrier, and after completion, guidance for the horses was to be provided from the end of the barrier. Therefore, service was performed as described above.
1. Regarding the matter of minor omission starting from the third turn, each year one person from the council goes to the御所屋 (administrative building), and when this matter was brought to the Head Priest's attention, this year it was communicated through informal court dress, which differed from the usual practice. When the Deputy Administrator's guardian consulted with the Head Priest about whether this might be problematic, it was decided that it would be appropriate to send word for a council member to come as usual, so
the above matter was communicated. Subsequently, an応直 (duty officer) from the council came and obtained the Head Priest's approval as usual.
