胸走りの時、太鼓合わせで色々と穿鑿があったが、階下より返事に「こちらは打ち申さず候」と。童どもが礫で打ち申すということで、重ねて馬を柵へ入れ勝負があった。
元亀三年
信長（織田）殿が御見物された。桟敷は公方様のごとく、下々は柵に板を敷くのみである。

御献上は惣中より参り、饅頭、餅、粽を参らせ、折物五合、御幣。左は一度、右はそう痛々しく計り也。上より御神事を御急ぎになるため也。昼より前に始まる也。六番競馬。

抜くるが勝ちである。信長様の御所望により再び乗った。後は勝負が上々である。堤に二度当たった。一段の御機嫌で度々御使いなどがあった。

社務森尊久、所司大夫左京進保在、代兵部少輔堯平、目代左馬允宗相。五日雨降り、御所屋へ御移りあり。

着座次第：一、所司大夫。二、別当《割書：五分大夫》。三、目代《割書：織部正》。金津庄の御馬、胸飾りの尻飾いの色が青し。これより青色が始まる。

During the chest-running event, there were various investigations regarding the drum coordination, but the response from the lower steps was "We did not strike from this side." Since the young attendants were said to have struck with stones, horses were put into the barrier again and there was a contest.
Genki 3rd year
Lord Nobunaga (Oda) came to observe. The viewing stands were like those of the Kubō, while the common people merely had boards laid on the barriers.

The offerings came from the entire group: steamed buns, rice cakes, and chimaki were presented, along with five gō of folded offerings and sacred streamers. The left side once, the right side was quite painful to watch. This was because the sacred ritual was being hastened from above. It began before noon. The sixth horse race.

Shrine administrator Mori Takahisa, Shoshi-dayū Sakyō-shin Yasuzai, deputy Hyōbu-shōyū Takahira, deputy administrator Sama-no-jō Munesuke. On the 5th day it rained, so there was a move to the temporary pavilion.
