一本に云う、二人ながら勝負木の内にて落馬した。佐渡守が早く馬に乗って勝った。

七番競馬で紀伊守の馬が坂場にて下へ引かれた。また造酒正季匡も則ち打った。しばらくあって後に紀伊守は一人駆けた。負けであったが左へ上がって録を貰おうとするのを押さえて録をかけさせない。その時馬より降りて里へ帰る。近年の初めてのことである。馬鞍二十疋共に一段の結構さで、近年このようなことはなかった。関白殿の東国御陣の御留守に、西国武士が京中御留めの衆として、四国衆の御馬鞍である。
文禄二年
九番左初、民部丞の老母遠行に付いて女房衆、狂福の衆が乗り尻替えとなった。

In the seventh horse race, Kii-no-kami's horse was pulled down at the slope. Miki-no-kami Suemasa also struck immediately. After a while, Kii-no-kami rode alone. Although he had lost, he tried to go up to the left to receive a reward, but this was prevented and he was not allowed to receive the reward. At that time he dismounted and returned to the village. This was unprecedented in recent years. Twenty horses with saddles were all magnificently appointed - such things had not occurred in recent years. During the absence of the Regent for his eastern campaign, western warriors remained in Kyoto as guards, and these were the horses and saddles of the Shikoku warriors.
Bunroku 2nd year (1593)
In the ninth race on the left initially, due to the distant journey of Minbu-no-jō's elderly mother, ladies-in-waiting and Kyōfuku attendants became substitute riders.
