清茂が按じるには、ある記録によると寛永十九年五月一日・五日両日に、儲君《割書：後光明院》が賀茂社に行啓されたのは、これは競馬御見物のためであった。道筋は中大路を経て一鳥居に到り、御桟敷を小経所の西の乗尻に給う。奉幣の儀式を御見物になり、御座は御籍屋の東の間であった。
正保元年《割書：寛永二十一年十二月十六日に改元して正保元年とした》

この年、兵庫助成相が目代であった。四月の大廻に正式に書付を申し上げたのを失念して、十番衆の乗尻を請け合い申し上げたところ、中指に及んで俄かに成らなかったため、指汰まで乗尻がなかった。しかしながら目代が乗った例はないので上表した。大廻に書付したならば成らないことは歴然としているということである。

Shigemochi notes that according to a certain record, on both the 1st and 5th days of the 5th month of Kan'ei 19th year, the Crown Prince 《Marginal note: Later Emperor Go-Kōmyō》 made an imperial progress to Kamo Shrine for the purpose of viewing the horse races. The route passed through Nakā-ōji road and arrived at the first torii, where viewing stands were provided west of Kokyōsho at the riding area. His Majesty viewed the ceremony of offering sacred objects, and the imperial seat was in the eastern room of the imperial registry building.

However, since there was no precedent for the deputy to ride, he made a formal report. It was evident that if he had made the entry for Ōmawari, it would not have been possible.
