三番 左 図書允保竹
右 雅楽助清香《割書：勝》
保竹は伯父保化の名代であるため座席はこのようになった。保化は二日夜、宿直所にて縁から落ちて肘と股を痛めた。浄衣を着ているためその座にて乗馬した。これは古法の社例である。
四番 左 兵部権少輔清邑
右 主税助保台《割書：吉匹 落馬》
当年季一家が指合（家中での争い）があったため、季金を除いて清邑を招いた。
六番 左 淡路守氏守
右 木工允員顕《割書：初》
勝負が早かったため、一人が社に向かって初めて乗馬したが落馬し、殊に遅れが甚だしかった。祖福久（左階下）にて赦免か負けかということになったが、左が再び社に向かった。
九番 左 大監物氏金
右 縫殿頭季弘《割書：吉匹》
当年保一家が指合があったため、保氏を除いて氏金を招いた。

Third Race: Left - Zusho-no-jō Yasutake
Right - Gagaku-no-suke Kiyoka 《Marginal note: Victory》
Yasutake served as a substitute for his uncle Yasuka, hence the seating arrangement was thus. Yasuka had fallen from the veranda at the night duty quarters on the second day night and injured his elbow and thigh. Since he was wearing court dress, he rode from that position. This is according to ancient shrine precedent.
Fourth Race: Left - Hyōbu-gon-no-shōyū Kiyomura
Right - Chikara-no-suke Yasudai 《Marginal note: Auspicious horse | Fell from horse》
This year there was a factional dispute (shisai) within the Sueki family, so Suekane was excluded and Kiyomura was invited.
Sixth Race: Left - Awaji-no-kami Ujimori
Right - Mokku-no-jō Kazeaki 《Marginal note: First》
Because the contest ended quickly, one person approached the shrine for his first ride but fell from his horse, causing a particularly severe delay. At Sofukuhisa (left side below stairs) there was a question of pardon or defeat, so the left side approached the shrine again.
Ninth Race: Left - Daikenmotsu Ujikane
Right - Nuido-no-kami Suehiro 《Marginal note: Auspicious horse》
This year there was a factional dispute within the Yasu family, so Yasuuji was excluded and Ujikane was invited.
