数十人然ハ如何布儀也兎角為頭ハ一両輩急度
請合申ス重而狼藉之儀停止申付ヘキ也来
五日之体ヲ御覧有而其上之訴可然也恐ハ可
止ト也仍止訴スル也実ニ五日之体ヲ見ハ諸奉行

は必ず糺すべき勝負である。その上、階下の人に対して口論するということは

大いに打つ者があった。そのため社中の輩から奉行頭へ訴えて言うには
「このような者では後年乗尻を務める人がいなくなるであろう。そうなれば神事が懈怠となる。
神通も勿体ない存在となる。よって停止していただくよう郡代
へ訴え給うべき」旨である。その時奉行の頭人が答えて言うには「訴えることはもっともである。
去れども、そうであれば打った者数人並びに諸奉行人まで咎める者が
数十人となる。そうなればどのように扱うべきか。とにかく頭としては一両輩を必ず
請け合い申す。重ねて狼藉の儀を停止するよう申し付けるべきである。来たる
五日の体を御覧になって、その上での訴えが然るべきである。恐らく
止むべきであろう」と。よって訴えを止めることとした。実際に五日の体を見れば、諸奉行は
