申候此儀近所之衆中何茂見被申候事ニ

初乗衆中
此日於講所乗尻中有寄会初乗中披露云最
前氏僚就被申達旨催寄会候其上今日初
案中江口上書被指出候弥被遂吟味之上可
被申達于一社中哉否之旨也依之各一同遂
吟味之処右口上書之趣依無相違弥被申
達に一社可然旨一決則右自氏僚被差出候
口上書ニ又自乗尻中別ニ相添一通即刻
以成貞兼精両使被申達に会所之俊許
畢返答云口上書致落掌候追付可遂披露
旨也依之各退出畢先是自八番衆為
使若役致直来入口状云今度木工権助事
自八番衆者今日一社江相達申候自乗尻中
者如何候哉之旨也返答云自乗尻中茂
今日以書付可指出旨致一決候自八番衆も以
書付被申達候哉否之旨相尋之処以口上

損傷したため、権兵衛の女房がようやく私を家の中へ引き入れて
くれました。この件は近所の衆中皆が見ておりました

初乗衆中
この日、講所において乗尻中が寄会を開き、初乗中に披露したことには、「最
初に氏僚について申し達された趣旨により寄会を催しました。その上で今日、初
乗中へ口上書が指し出されました。いよいよ吟味を遂げた上で
一社中に申し達すべきかどうか」ということでした。これにより各々一同で
吟味したところ、右の口上書の趣旨に相違がないため、いよいよ
一社に申し達すのが然るべきと一決し、すなわち右の氏僚から差し出された
口上書に、また乗尻中から別に相添えて一通、即刻
成貞・兼精両使をもって会所の俊の許に申し達した。
終了後、返答は「口上書を受け取りました。追って披露を遂げます」
ということでした。これにより各々退出した。これに先立って八番衆から
使者として若役致直が来て入り、口状で「今度の木工権助の事について、
八番衆からは今日一社へ相達しました。乗尻中
からはいかがでしょうか」ということでした。返答は「乗尻中からも
今日書付をもって指し出すと一決しています。八番衆からも
書付をもって申し達されるのでしょうか」と相尋ねしたところ、口上で

To the First Riders
On this day, at the lecture hall, the horsemen held a meeting and disclosed to the first riders: "Previously
we called this meeting regarding what was reported about Ujiryo. Furthermore, today
a written statement was submitted to the first riders. Should we proceed with our investigation and
report to the entire shrine community or not?" Accordingly, everyone together conducted
an investigation, and since the content of the written statement was without discrepancy, they
decided unanimously that it should indeed be reported to the entire shrine. Then, to the written statement submitted by Ujiryo,
the horsemen separately added another document, and immediately
sent both envoys Narisada and Kanekiyo to report to Shun at the meeting place.
After completion, the response was: "I have received the written statement. I will make the disclosure in due course."
Accordingly, everyone withdrew. Prior to this, from the eighth group,
the junior official Naonao came as an envoy and stated orally: "Regarding the matter of Moku-gon-suke this time,
the eighth group has reported to the entire shrine today. What about
the horsemen?" The response was: "The horsemen have also
decided unanimously to submit a written document today. Will the eighth group also
submit their report in writing?" When asked this, they replied orally:
