The matter was disclosed and after everyone acknowledged it, immediately as courtesy for this matter, both Narisada and Kanetatsu were sent as envoys to Shun at the meeting place, which was an unusual and most gracious gesture. Regarding this recent incident, the entire course of events has been recorded in detail without any embellishment of the facts. Moreover, regarding this matter, when deliberations were recently held among the horsemen, it was unanimously decided that the senior horsemen should keep a record. Therefore, Narisada, Kane-kindai, Kanetatsu, Uji-ichidai, Hōgen and others attended, and specifically the coordinator Kansai as well as scribe Kiyoshige and others joined to record everything in detail. For the future, permanently as decisions of the senior horsemen, the procedures for conducting horse racing rituals year after year without negligence, as well as exceptional cases, should all be added in writing to the end of the document, as determined by group consensus. Recorded as above. On the seventh day of the eighth month of the same year, there was a meeting, and Rokubei of Tanaka-machi wished to petition: Regarding the various discourteous and improper acts I committed against the honorable horsemen last May, your anger is entirely justified, and I am extremely troubled and regretful. Having now received generous pardon, and if proper mediation is provided to the shrine community and my tōne position is restored as before, I would consider it a grateful honor for generations to come. This petition was disclosed by the senior horsemen on this day. The deliberation stated: "Regarding Rokubei's case, initially the eighth group's horsemen consulted among themselves and reported to the entire shrine community, and an investigation was conducted
