その夜、九郎介は守の丞を遊郭へ連れて行き、
自分一人で帰って留守を見計らい、良い
機会だと見てみさきを捕まえて口説いた。
「これさあ、あの馬鹿旦那は
まつさき
という美しい
女に惚れてお前の
ことは全く
思い出しもせず、
またまつさきの方
からも とんだ惚れよう。
そのはずでもある。
お前の前では七文の針
抜き面を見るような
顔をしていて、まつさきには
大の色男と化けて
見せることだから、惚れるのも
当然だ。
あんな不誠実な
人を思い切って、

pawning them for
three hundred ryō.
"Young master,

perfectly.
What of it? A parent's
things belong to their child.
If we're found
out, we'll deal with it
then."
