現代語訳
上り、同年十月に下った。
一、同年閏十月、御預人戸枝右門・小川重右衛門方から受け取り、同十一月に小原源五郎方へ引き渡した。
一、天明七年（1787年）七月、廻り勤三ヶ年を引き続き出精して勤めたことにより、御褒美として綿二把を下し置かれた。
一、同八年（1788年）十二月、番頭副役を仰せ付けられ、役儀につき采配を成すことを御免の旨を仰せ出された。
一、寛政四年（1792年）二月、願いの通り御役を御免され、忰忠太が御番代を仰せ付けられた。
一、同十一年（1799年）九月朔日、六十五歳で病死した。法名は法輪院円證日則、葬所は同上。

went up and returned in the 10th month of the same year.
1. In the intercalary 10th month of the same year, he received custody from Toe Uemon and Ogawa Jūemon, and transferred it to Ohara Gen'gorō in the 11th month of the same year.
1. In the 7th month of Tenmei 7 (1787), for diligently serving three consecutive years of rotation duty, he was granted two bundles of cotton as a reward.
1. In the 12th month of the same 8th year (Tenmei 8, 1788), he was appointed as assistant head guard, and was granted permission to exercise command authority in his official capacity.
1. In the 2nd month of Kansei 4 (1792), as requested, he was relieved of his official duties, and his son Chūta was appointed as guard substitute.
1. On the 1st day of the 9th month of the same 11th year (Kansei 11, 1799), he died of illness at age 65. His Buddhist name was Hōrin'in Enshō Nissoku, buried in the same place as above.
