大きな声で御下知をなされ、敵兵を追討して黒門に御押し寄せになり、
八町目の町口において御自身で敵兵を御討ち取りになり、その首を関治兵衛
を以って
神君の御本陣へ遣わされ、直ちに天王寺口の柵を破って御押し入りになり、大手の
一番乗りを成された。御旗奉行上三川左衛門實基が御旗を御備えの先に押し立て、
御槍奉行榊原新兵衛重成と力を合わせて進み、桜門に御旗を押し立てた
けれども、城内に敵兵は見えず、一の木戸を閉じて堀を満たしており、入る便りが
ないところに水野日向守勝成殿の旗奉行神谷久右衛門という者が来たので、
「越前少将の先手松平伊予守は今日天王寺口の一番乗りである

後の旗をお待ちください」と言い捨てて御旗を進められた。
忠昌様はなおまた御自身での御高名を心がけられ、真っ先に御進みになった
ところ、甲冑を黒く着た武者（城方の大勇士念流左大夫）が御左の方から進み寄り、
御草摺の外れを切り付けたのを御外しになり、早くも御馬から御下り立ちになった
ので、二の太刀で御馬取りを一打ちし、それから必死になって切りかかって
きたため、
忠昌様は間違いなく御槍で手強く御戦いになった（この時十文字御槍の片鎌を御突き折りになった）ところ、
御側にいた安藤治大夫、鷺谷與五右衛門が御脇を詰めて、両人とも

With a loud voice he issued commands, pursued the enemy soldiers and pressed toward the Black Gate,
at the town entrance of the eighth district he personally struck down an enemy soldier, and sent that head via Seki Jihē
to
the Divine Lord's main camp. Immediately breaking through the palisade at Tennōji entrance and pressing in, he achieved
first entry at the main attack. Banner commander Kamikawa Saemon Saneoki raised the banner at the front of the formation,
and joining forces with spear commander Sakakibara Shinbē Shigenari, they advanced and raised the banner at Sakura Gate.

when a warrior in black armor (a great warrior of the castle forces, Nenryū Sadayū) approached from his left side
