【右丁】
少々手傷を負ったけれども、敵は両人に隔てられたため刀を捨てて
忠昌様に飛びかかってきたので、御組み合いになったが、ついに下になってしまった
ところに石川忠左衛門、吉田五左衛門祥武、瓜生権右衛門が駆け付け、敵の後ろから
引き組んだけれども、無双の大力で容易に組み伏せることができないところ、毛受小三郎延洪が
駆けつけて敵の臀を突いたので少し怯んだため、
忠昌様が下から御跳ね返しになったので、五左衛門がそのまま組み伏せて離れず、
早く御討ちになるようにと申し上げたので、御討ち止めになった。右の首を甲付きで池山
茂左衛門を以って茶臼山の御本陣へ入れて御実検された。なお御勇ましく
本丸まで押し詰められ、未の刻（午後2時頃）に落城に及んだ。この時御手勢で首数は

合計五十七級を御討ち取りになった。
ただし左大夫を御討ち止めになった節、その場で小三郎に左大夫の
帯びていた刀を、忠左衛門に鎧袖を、五左衛門に頬当てを下し置かれた。
一、この時御手勢のうち岡部豊後守長起、大野七之介、佐藤
三之丞、山葉八郎右衛門の右四人が討死した。

神君は茶臼山の御陣所から二条の御城へお入りになった。

秀忠様は岡山の御陣所を御引き払いになり、伏見の御城へお入りになった。

Though they sustained minor wounds, the enemy discarded his sword as he was separated by the two men and
leaped at Lord Tadamasa, so they grappled together, but he was finally pressed down
when Ishikawa Chūzaemon, Yoshida Gozaemon Shōbu, and Uryū Gonemon rushed up and
grappled from behind the enemy. However, being of unparalleled great strength, he could not easily be subdued, when Menju Kosaburō Nobuhiro
came running and thrust at the enemy's buttocks, causing him to falter slightly, so
Lord Tadamasa threw him off from below, and Gozaemon immediately pinned him down without letting go,
urging that he be quickly dispatched, so he was struck down. This head, with armor attached, was sent via Ikeyama
Mozaemon to the main camp at Chausuyama for inspection. Still fighting valiantly,
they pressed forward to the main keep, and the castle fell at the hour of the Sheep (around 2 PM). At this time, the heads taken by his forces

totaled fifty-seven levels.
However, when Sadayū was struck down, on that spot Kosaburō was given Sadayū's
sword that he had worn, Chūzaemon the armor sleeves, and Gozaemon the cheek guard.
One, at this time among his forces, Okabe Bungo-no-kami Nagaoki, Ōno Shichinosuke, Satō
Sannosuke, and Yamaba Hachirōemon - these four men died in battle.

The Divine Lord entered Nijō Castle from his encampment at Chausuyama.

Lord Hidetada withdrew from his encampment at Okayama and entered Fushimi Castle.
