一 同日、右と同様により
忠昌様は大坂表から
忠直様と御一緒に伏見の御屋敷へお入りになり御逗留があった
一 （月日不明）伏見において本多佐渡守正信殿宅へ永見志摩吉次が御呼び出しされ、
忠昌様の御戦功の次第並びに時刻場所等まで詳しく尋ねられたので、
志摩が詳細に申し達したところ、諸手を越えて一番乗りをなされ、その上
御自身の御手柄など、格別の御戦功であるとの御挨拶があった
一 五月十日、今度の大坂出陣の諸大名に二条の御城へ登城するよう
仰せ出されたので

忠直様、忠昌様、出羽守直政様が御同道で御登城し、
神君、秀忠様へ御目見を仰せ上げた。この時
忠直様、出羽守直政様へは御褒賞の上意があったところ、
忠昌様には三番目ほど後になってお座りになり、別段の上意がなかったので、
御延び上がり「松平伊予守はここにおります」と御大声で仰せ上げ
られたところ、
神君が御驚きになって「それにいるのか。今度の戦功、自分の手柄など
抜群の高名である」と感賞の上意があった
一 六月十六日、嘉定により二条の御城へ

Lord Tadamasa from the Osaka front
entered the residence at Fushimi together with Lord Tadanao and stayed there
One (Date unclear) At Fushimi, Nagami Shima Yoshitsugu was summoned to the residence of Honda Sado-no-kami Masanobu,
and was questioned in detail about the particulars of Lord Tadamasa's military achievements, including the time and place, so
when Shima reported everything in detail, he was acknowledged for surpassing all other forces and being first to charge, and moreover
for his personal valor, saying these were exceptional military achievements
One May 10th, the various daimyo who participated in this Osaka campaign were
ordered to proceed to Nijō Castle

Lord Tadanao, Lord Tadamasa, and Dewa-no-kami Naomasa proceeded to the castle together,
and had an audience with the Divine Lord and Lord Hidetada. At this time
Lord Tadanao and Dewa-no-kami Naomasa received words of commendation from above, but
Lord Tadamasa was seated about third in order and received no particular words from above, so
he moved forward and declared in a loud voice, "Matsudaira Iyo-no-kami is present here!"
Whereupon
the Divine Lord was surprised and said, "Are you there? Your military achievements in this campaign and your personal valor
are outstanding feats of arms," giving words of appreciation
