一 月日 本多飛騨守成重殿の子供の内一人を召し使うべき旨、忠昌様が御意向を示されたことに付き、飛騨守殿からその段を公辺へ願い出たところ、五男主税重方を差し出すよう上意があり、すぐに公方様・大御所様への御目見を仰せ付けられ、主税は嶋田弾正忠利政殿と飛騨守殿の同道で江戸御屋敷へ参上し、御目見を仰せ付けられ、知行三千石を下し置かれた（この時民部と改名）

1. Date: Regarding Lord Tadamasa's intention that one of the children of Honda Hida-no-kami Narushige should be taken into service, when Hida-no-kami petitioned the authorities about this matter, there was an official order to present his fifth son Chikara Shigekata. Immediately, an audience with the Shogun and the Retired Shogun was arranged, and Chikara, accompanied by Shimada Danjō-chū Toshimasa and Hida-no-kami, went to the Edo residence for the audience. He was granted a stipend of 3,000 koku (at this time he changed his name to Minbu).
