ただしこの時、尾張大納言義直様、紀伊大納言頼宣様、駿河大納言忠長様、
水戸中納言頼房様、仙台中納言政宗殿、加賀中納言利常殿、
薩摩中納言家久殿、
忠昌様、備前宰相忠雄殿、会津宰相忠郷殿まで御騎馬で
一列になり、その他は二列で行進した。
一 九月七日 重陽の御祝儀のため、
公方様・大御所様へ御小袖五着ずつを献上したところ、追って御内書が
御城で渡された。
重陽の祝儀として小袖五着を送られたことについて

Mito Chūnagon Yorifusa-sama, Sendai Chūnagon Masamune-dono, Kaga Chūnagon Toshitsune-dono,
Satsuma Chūnagon Iehisa-dono,
Tadamasa-sama, Bizen Saisho Tadao-dono, and Aizu Saisho Tadasato-dono rode on horseback in
single file, while the others proceeded in double file.
1. September 7th: For the Chōyō (Double Ninth Festival) celebration,
five kosode each were presented to the Shogun and Retired Shogun, whereupon a written response was
delivered at the castle.
