公辺から御書付をもって左の通り仰せ出された。
一 絹・紬のこと 一端につき長さは大工間で三丈
二尺、幅一尺四寸
一 布・木綿のこと 一端につき長さは大工の間で
三丈二尺、幅一尺三寸

右の織物の寸法が御定めより長さ・幅が不足している絹・
布を売買する者は、来年卯四月朔日から
見合わせ、取り締まるべきものである。
一 同月二十一日 歳暮の御祝儀として御小袖五つを献上したところ、
御内書が御城で渡された。
歳暮の慶賀として小袖五つが到来したこと、よく承知した。
なお酒井雅楽頭が申し述べるであろう。謹言

The following was decreed by official document from the government:
1. Regarding silk and pongee: One tan in length shall be three jō
two shaku by the carpenter's measure, width one shaku four sun
1. Regarding hemp cloth and cotton: One tan in length shall be by the carpenter's measure
three jō two shaku, width one shaku three sun

For the above textiles, those who sell silk and
cloth that fall short of the prescribed length and width measurements shall be
suspended from the first day of the fourth month of next year (Year of the Rabbit), and appropriate action shall be taken.
1. Same month, 21st day: Five formal court robes were presented as year-end congratulatory gifts,
whereupon an imperial letter was delivered at the castle.
I have duly acknowledged the arrival of five court robes
as year-end congratulations.
