神君（徳川家康）にお目見えを仰せ上げられ、その節の上意により勝方（神君の御妾で太田新六郎康資の養女、実は陰山長門守氏寅の娘）をお嫁にもらい受けて夫となられ、それから江戸へ御参府された（本多佐渡守正信殿はこの節駿府におられたので、御同道の件は佐渡守殿に仰せ付けられた）
