但治部左衛門江戸着日等不詳
一 七月十二日平塚清兵衛 永平寺祚天同道福井江着
ニ付高田遠江守《割書：一｜英》佐野式部《割書：影｜利》島田内蔵助《割書：重｜員》を以て御奉書
之趣祚天江被 仰渡且請証文指出候様申渡之左之通

今度於江戸拙僧事被遂御裁許不届之仕合ニ
付而為 上意与永平寺御追放被成其上越前国
関東中京大坂尾張国紀伊国駿河国致居住

江戸表へ派遣された
ただし治部左衛門の江戸到着日などは詳細不明
一 七月十二日、平塚清兵衛が永平寺祚天と同道して福井へ到着した
ため、高田遠江守（一英）、佐野式部（影利）、島田内蔵助（重員）をもって御奉書の
趣旨を祚天へ申し渡し、かつ請証文を差し出すよう申し渡した。左の通り
差し出した
このたび江戸において拙僧のことを御裁許いただき、不届きな仕合により
上意として永平寺御追放を成され、その上越前国・
関東・中京・大坂・尾張国・紀伊国・駿河国に居住してはならない

旨を御年寄中からの御奉書の趣旨として申し渡された通り、
その意を得て承知いたしております。然る上は右の所々に罷り在ってはなりません。
よって証文を件の如く提出いたします

1. 7th month, 12th day, Hiratsuka Seibei arrived in Fukui accompanied by Eiheiji's Soten,
whereupon through Takada Tōtōmi-no-kami (Kazuhide), Sano Shikibu (Kagetoshi), and Shimada Kura-nosuke (Shigekazu), the contents of the official letter
were conveyed to Soten, and he was ordered to submit a written pledge. He submitted the following:
This time in Edo, this humble monk's case was adjudicated, and due to my misconduct,
by higher order I am expelled from Eiheiji, and furthermore am prohibited from residing in Echizen Province,
Kantō, Chūkyō, Osaka, Owari Province, Kii Province, and Suruga Province.

I have understood and accepted this intention. Therefore, I shall not remain in any of the aforementioned places.
I hereby submit this written pledge.
