内蔵山城のすけはくた〳〵し
けれはかきもらしつ山城介はたち
をはき内蔵助は官幣をさき
たてたり馬助もりやくして
かゝす使は中将隆良朝臣いまた
少将にてわたられけりかのいゑに
は舞楽の具を風流につけたり
かさりくるまはさたまりて楽屋
につくり弘長制符のゝちは近
衛舎人もりやくせられて馬副
はかりなりゐかひ御まやとねり
御うしかひなとはたゝ例のことし
女使も命婦蔵人はかきのこし
つ斎院おはしますおりは禊斎
弁一条の大路をわたり典侍神
館にまいりて紫野のかへり

内蔵助と山城介は慌ただしくしていたので、（記録に）書き漏らしてしまった。山城介は太刀を履き、内蔵助は官幣を先頭に立てていた。馬助も盛装して

勅使は中将隆良朝臣で、まだ少将でいらっしゃった頃のことである。その家には舞楽の道具を風流に飾り付けていた。

飾り車は決まっていて、楽屋に作られた。弘長の制符の後は、近衛舎人も盛装されて、馬副ばかりとなった。射狩、御厩舎、舎人、御牛飼いなどは、ただ例年の通りであった。

女使も命婦、蔵人は書き残してしまった。斎院がいらっしゃる時は禊斎で、弁が一条大路を渡り、典侍が神館に参って紫野から帰った。

英語訳

The Kuranonosuke and Yamashiro-no-suke were in such haste that (details) were omitted from the record. Yamashiro-no-suke wore his sword, and Kuranonosuke held the official offerings at the front. Umasuke was also dressed in formal attire.

The imperial messenger was Chūjō Takayoshi Ason, when he was still serving as Shōshō (Minor Captain). In that house, musical instruments for court dance were elegantly arranged.

The decorated carriages were predetermined and prepared in the music hall. After the Kōchō regulatory document, the Konoe guards were also formally attired, with only the deputy horse officers remaining. The射狩 (hunting officials), stable attendants, guards, and ox-drivers simply followed the usual annual customs.

Regarding the female messengers, the myōbu court ladies and kurōdo (chamberlains) were also omitted from the record. When the Saiin (High Priestess) was present, there was purification ritual, with the ben (controller) crossing Ichijō Avenue, the tenji (court lady) visiting the shrine, and returning from Murasaki-no.
