外国御用取扱を仰せ付けられた旨、その意を得るべく候
二十八日 朝より快晴、終日天気よし、暑気なり、夜中まで暑し（七十三度、八十五度）
今日港へ様子を聞きながら使いを遣わした所、辰の口下より四丁目辺りまでにて書き上げに相成候。流れた屋敷ばかり三十六軒、その外書き上げに相成らない屋敷も沢山ある由。怪我人も十二、三人。酢屋なども逃げ出したりして、今やっとのことで待ち構えている事の由。二十六日夜明け方より風が静かになり、皆々安堵いたした由。波の高さ一丈余りの波にて、南阿や新助角まで波が立ち、火事よりも大騒ぎの由。
