候得共今度諸事御取締之儀被仰出候得は猶又御取箇筋致出精候様取斗可申旨

一用水普請等之儀料【ママ】作第一之儀に候得は等閑に致間敷儀に候得共年々少破之節
村々に而修覆を加へ及大破不申様心懸候はヽ自然と普請所相減可申事に候間用水
奉行共猶又致出精右之趣取斗可申旨可被申聞置候
一川除普請御入用之儀去る酉年大水後年々過分之御入用に相成 上にも御出方
多在方に而も難儀之趣に付一昨未年格別之御趣意被 仰出川除奉行共致出精普
請御入用相減御取締出来候処昨申年度々出水に付破損所多亦後御入用高
相増候得共一昨年被 仰出候御趣意相立候様此上取斗可申旨川除奉行共へ
可被申聞置候
四郡奉行へ
一川除并用水普請之儀等閑に被指置候義は難相成事に候得共去る酉年大水
後過分之御入用相増御金廻りも御指支に付在方に而も川除銀仕越普請相増
一統難儀之趣に付一昨未年御趣意被仰出役所に而取斗締方宜御趣意
相立候処昨申年度々之出水に付普請入用相増候得共今度諸事格別之
御取締被仰候義に候得は尚亦御入用相減候様可被取斗候且又用水普請之
儀も可相成丈少破之節村々に而修覆を加へ普請所相減入用少く相成候様百姓共
心得居候様取斗可被申候

現代語訳
であったが、今度諸事についての取締りが申し出された以上は、なお一層取得方面に精励するよう処理すべき旨を申し聞かせておくべきである。
一、用水普請等については、農作が第一のことであるから等閑にしてはならないことであるが、年々小破の際に村々で修繕を加えて大破に至らないよう心がければ、自然と普請箇所も減少するであろうから、用水奉行らもなお一層精励して右の趣旨により処理すべき旨を申し聞かせておくべきである。
一、川除普請の費用については、去る酉年の大水の後、年々過分の費用となり、上（藩）でも支出が多く、在方でも難儀している様子であるため、一昨年未年に格別の方針が申し出され、川除奉行らが精励して普請費用を減らし取締りができたところ、昨年申年は度々の出水により破損箇所が多く、また後の費用が増加したが、一昨年に申し出された方針が実現するよう今後処理すべき旨を川除奉行らへ申し聞かせておくべきである。
四郡奉行へ
一、川除並びに用水普請については等閑に放置することはできないことであるが、去る酉年の大水後、過分の費用が増加し、資金繰りも支障をきたしているため、在方でも川除銀の支払いや普請の増加で一同難儀している様子であるため、一昨年未年に方針が申し出され、役所で処理・取締り方が良くその方針が実現したところ、昨年申年の度々の出水により普請入用が増加したが、今度諸事について格別の取締りが申し出されたことであるから、なお一層費用を減らすよう処理すべきである。また用水普請についても、できる限り小破の際に村々で修繕を加えて普請箇所を減らし、費用を少なくするよう百姓らが心得ているよう処理すべきである。
御鳥見頭 平岡金左衛門
一、御鷹場普請について、人足高は近年申し出されたこともあるから、いよいよ増加しないよう処理すべきである。もちろん普請が行き届かないこともあろうが、この度は了承されるから、そのように心得るべきである。
御鵜匠頭 筒井仁右衛門
一、去る丑年から七年間、御鵜を中止していたところ、昨年申年から少々御鵜の繁殖が申し付けられた。もちろん従来とは鵜の数も異なるから不都合なこともあろうが、そのようなことは了承されるから、今後無益なことがないよう処理すべきこと。

Therefore, the irrigation magistrates should be instructed to exert even greater effort and handle matters according to this principle.
1. Regarding flood control construction expenses, after the great flood in the previous Year of the Rooster, annual expenses have become excessive, with heavy expenditures from above (the domain) and hardship in rural areas. Therefore, an exceptional policy was announced in the previous Year of the Sheep, and through the diligent efforts of flood control magistrates, construction expenses were reduced and proper supervision established. However, last year (Year of the Monkey) saw frequent flooding with many damaged areas, leading to increased subsequent expenses. The flood control magistrates should be instructed to handle matters so as to realize the policy announced the year before last.
To the Four-District Magistrates
1. Flood control and irrigation construction cannot be left unattended, but since the great flood in the Year of the Rooster, excessive expenses have increased and financial circulation has been hindered, causing difficulties for everyone in rural areas with flood control silver payments and increased construction. Therefore, a policy was announced in the previous Year of the Sheep, and through proper handling and supervision by the office, this policy was realized. Although construction expenses increased due to frequent flooding last year (Year of the Monkey), since exceptional supervision of all matters has now been ordered, efforts should be made to further reduce expenses. Regarding irrigation construction as well, arrangements should be made so that farmers understand to perform repairs for minor damage in villages as much as possible, reducing construction sites and costs.

1. Regarding hawking ground construction, since announcements about labor costs have been made in recent years, efforts should be made to prevent further increases. Of course, there may be instances where construction is inadequate, but this time it will be understood, so this should be kept in mind.
To the Head Cormorant Master, Tsutsui Niemon
1. Cormorant fishing had been suspended for seven years starting from the previous Year of the Ox, but from last year (Year of the Monkey), some cormorant breeding has been ordered. Of course, since the number of cormorants differs from before, there may be inconveniences, but such matters will be understood, so efforts should be made to avoid unprofitable outcomes hereafter.
