○御台所向御締り方度々被仰出何も心配可有之哉に候得共急迫之御用共多評儀
不参届儀も有之漸々御趣意相弛ミ候儀も有之候諸向御倹約厳重被
仰出候儀に候得共形合に不泥少分之義も吟味方厚相糺候上御不益無之様取斗
可申儀と御趣意有之以後御徒目付見廻り被 仰付候

御役名之趣意不相失都而善悪相糺内達可申候先年御政事方相勤候儀に
候得ハ御締り方之大意相心得可罷在候間内々御徒目付共とも申談御台所向不正之
儀無之様専心掛可相勤候御台所頭助役御勘定向之儀は御不益無之様誠精
致心配存寄共御奉行へ可申達候御趣意有之転役被仰付候間等閑之儀無之

相勤取人相止可申事

江戸において
○台所方の締切り方について度々申し出られているが、何も心配することがあるのかもしれないが、急迫の用事が多く評議が行き届かない件もあり、漸次趣意が緩んでいることもある。諸方面で倹約を厳重に申し出られているが、形式にとらわれず少しの事でも吟味方を厚く糾明した上で、無益がないよう処理すべきという趣意があり、以後徒目付による見回りを命じられた。

○台所方の締切り方を厳重に入念に勤めるべきである。近来諸事の吟味方が等閑になっていると聞いている。役名の趣意を失わず、すべて善悪を糾明し内達すべきである。先年政事方を勤めていたので、締切り方の大意を心得ているはずであるから、内々に徒目付共とも相談し、台所方に不正がないよう専ら心がけて勤めるべきである。台所頭助役として勘定方については無益がないよう誠心をもって心配し、意見を奉行へ申し達すべきという趣意があり、転役を命じられたので、等閑なことなく出精して勤めるべきである。

一、町役所・金津三郡で相対勧化の願いがどれほどあっても、年に五つまで許可されるべきこと
右については諸役所で勧化願いがある際は吟味を遂げ預かり置き、三月までに揃ったものを四月初めに諸役所から一統に提出すべきである。厚薄を評議の上、願い書面五つまで許可されるべきこと
但し残った願い書面については、当年定められた願い五つが済んだ旨を申し聞かせ願い書を返却し、翌年また願い出るならば前段の通り取り扱われるべきこと
右の趣旨は諸役所で心得ておくこと。もっとも止むを得ない手当て替わりにも命じられるほどの願いは格別のことであるから、不時にも願い書を取り上げ提出し評議を願われるべきこと
十月十六日

○普請組の内十人を作事方小杖勤に命じられたところ、普請奉行の願いにより作事方勤務は免除された。しかしながら作事方で格別用事が多い際は小杖勤を命じられることもあるだろう。かつまたこれまで普請役所勤務の内で先筒組取人として勤めていた分は、以後は普請組で勤め、取人は停止すべきこと
右の通り普請奉行へ通達すべきである。

1. Regarding solicitation requests in town offices and the three Kanazu districts, no matter how many there are, only five per year shall be approved.
The above means that when there are solicitation requests at various offices, they should be examined and held until March, then submitted uniformly from all offices in early April. After evaluating their importance, five petition documents shall be approved.
However, regarding remaining petition documents, applicants shall be informed that the five petitions allowed for the current year have been completed, their petition documents shall be returned, and if they petition again the following year, they shall be handled as described above.
The above should be understood by all offices. However, requests urgent enough to warrant exceptional assistance are special cases, so petition documents may be accepted and submitted for evaluation even at irregular times.
