○御出殿之節御具役御礼申上候事
一新番組御具役御書院番入被仰付御具役其侭相勤候者
御出殿之節初而御供に罷出候得は御徒頭披露御礼可申上
一右之面々御留守年中に被仰付候共 御着城之上初而御供に罷出候節
矢張御礼可申上事
一御具役御加増等其外都而結構被仰付其後御出殿之節初
而御供に罷出候得は御徒頭披露御礼申上来候処右御礼以後
相止候事
但大御番御留守番無役御留守番組ゟ御具役御書院番入被仰付候
而も御礼無之事
一御書院番組居形に而御具役被仰付候而も御礼無之事

一文化十二年亥年
○御出殿の際の御具役の御礼申し上げについて
一、新番組の御具役で御書院番入りを仰せ付けられ、御具役をそのまま勤める者が、御出殿の際に初めて御供に出向く場合は、御徒頭の披露により御礼を申し上げること
一、右の面々が御留守年中に仰せ付けられた場合でも、御着城の上で初めて御供に出向く際は、やはり御礼を申し上げること
一、御具役の御加増等その他すべて結構な待遇を仰せ付けられ、その後御出殿の際に初めて御供に出向く場合は、御徒頭の披露により御礼を申し上げてきたが、右の御礼は今後取り止めること
ただし、大御番・御留守番・無役・御留守番組から御具役・御書院番入りを仰せ付けられた場合でも御礼はないこと
一、御書院番組に在籍したまま御具役を仰せ付けられた場合でも御礼はないこと
一、御書院番の御具役で休息を仰せ付けられ、その息子が御具役を仰せ付けられて御書院番組へ入れられた際も御礼はないこと

○Regarding formal greetings by goyaku (attendant officials) when the lord departs from the castle
1. When a goyaku from the shinban-gumi (new guard unit) is appointed to join the goshoin-ban (chamberlain guard) and continues to serve as goyaku, if they participate in the lord's retinue for the first time during his departure, they shall offer formal greetings through the introduction by the ashigaru-gashira (foot soldier commander)
1. Even if the aforementioned individuals are appointed during the lord's absence, when they first join the retinue after the lord's return to the castle, they shall still offer formal greetings
1. When goyaku receive salary increases or other favorable appointments, and subsequently join the lord's retinue for the first time during his departure, they have been offering formal greetings through the ashigaru-gashira's introduction, but such greetings shall henceforth be discontinued
However, even when appointed as goyaku or to join the goshoin-ban from the daioban (great guard), goryusuban (castle keeper), unranked positions, or goryusuban-gumi, no formal greeting is required
1. Even when appointed as goyaku while remaining in the goshoin-ban-gumi, no formal greeting is required
1. When a goshoin-ban goyaku is granted retirement and his son is appointed as goyaku and enters the goshoin-ban-gumi, no formal greeting is required either
