検見被仰付候左様可被相心得候

一御本丸御移之節年始三ヶ日之外表通り相廻ル御供廻り相止内通り御供之者御
駕廻り御近習向斗被召連御継之儀も御枕槍斗に御省略之事
但御参詣御供廻り之儀は是迄之通且御供立御徒を始江戸御供御行列之通
間々詰延不申様可被申聞候
一野廻り御供装束之儀是迄之通暑寒共麻木綿之内単羽織勝手次第可致
着用事
但紺足袋切草鞋等之儀前々之通可為勝手次第事
一御鵜川之節御船印并御水主頭印被相止候事
一御鵜川下川御出之節別紙之通御省略之事
一式日御役人共并御徒目付継肩衣可致着用事
一御徒頭見廻り之儀毎日朝壱度に被仰付候事
但部屋相止御用有之節は長囲炉裏末に可罷在事
一御目付泊番相止日之内斗当番被仰付候事
但以前之通御門所出入取扱之儀番改役之者可取扱事
一御詰番三人之処壱人被相減候事
一御腰物奉行当番は相止候事 但昼九時迄相詰可申事
現代語訳
一 地掛かり村々において伐り取るよう申し付けるべきである
一 川筋を一時に伐り払うことは支障もあるため、まず足羽川大橋上から三国湊まで伐木を命じる
一 右の御用中それぞれ役方を指し出すことである
但し用水奉行・川除奉行へは御奉行より申し通すべき旨、本保領並びに他領川筋村々へは御奉行より通すべき、見分の節は御奉行・御目付・吟味役一人ずつ出向くべき、御徒目付両人掛かりを命じる旨により、二十三日にいずれも三国湊まで舟で見分に赴き、二十四日に帰る。同二十八日大橋上稲津御留境まで見分に出向いた事

○去る己年より御趣意により各々検見を指し出さなかったが、然るところ御代替後未だ検見を指し出していないため、今年は検見を命じる。そのように心得るべきである

申し出された御書付覚書
一 御本丸へ御移りの節、年始三ヶ日の外は表通りを回る御供回りを止め、内通りの御供の者・御駕籠回り・御近習向きのみを召し連れ、御継ぎの儀も御枕槍のみに御省略の事
但し御参詣の御供回りの儀はこれまでの通り、かつ御供立ちの御徒を始め江戸御供御行列の通り、間々詰まり延びないよう申し聞かせるべきである
一 野回りの御供装束の儀はこれまでの通り、暑寒とも麻木綿の内、単羽織は勝手次第着用すること
但し紺足袋・切草鞋等の儀は前々の通り勝手次第とすること
一 御鵜川の節の御船印並びに御水主頭印を止めること
一 御鵜川下川御出の節は別紙の通り御省略の事
一 式日には御役人ども並びに御徒目付は継肩衣を着用すること
一 御徒頭見回りの儀は毎日朝一度に命じること
但し部屋を止め、御用がある節は長囲炉裏の末に居るべき事
一 御目付泊番を止め、日中のみ当番を命じること
但し以前の通り御門所出入り取り扱いの儀は番改役の者が取り扱うべき事
一 御詰番三人のところ一人を減らすこと
一 御腰物奉行の当番は止めること 但し昼九時まで詰めるべき事

1. The responsible villages shall be ordered to cut down [the trees]
1. Since cutting down all river channel vegetation at once may cause difficulties, tree cutting shall first be ordered from above Asuwa River Ōhashi to Mikuni Port
1. During this official work, respective officials shall be assigned
However, the water magistrate and river maintenance magistrate shall be notified by the chief magistrate; villages along river channels in Honbo territory and other territories shall be contacted by the chief magistrate; for inspections, one each of chief magistrate, inspector, and investigation official shall attend, with two foot-soldier inspectors assigned. Accordingly, on the 23rd day, all went by boat to inspect as far as Mikuni Port and returned on the 24th. On the 28th of the same month, they went out to inspect from above Ōhashi to the Inatsu boundary.

○Since the previous Year of the Boar, crop inspections have not been submitted according to official policy, but since inspections have not yet been submitted after the succession, crop inspections are ordered for this year. This should be understood accordingly.

Memorandum of the announced document
1. When moving to the main castle, except for the three days of New Year, the entourage circling the front route shall be stopped, and only inner route attendants, palanquin bearers, and close attendants shall be brought along; relay arrangements shall also be simplified to only ceremonial spears
However, regarding entourage for shrine visits, it shall remain as before, and foot soldiers and others in the retinue, including the Edo escort procession, should be instructed not to cause delays through crowding
1. Regarding attire for countryside rounds, as before, in both hot and cold weather, single haori jackets of hemp or cotton may be worn at discretion
However, regarding dark blue tabi and straw sandals, these may be worn at discretion as before
1. Ship insignia and head boatswain insignia for cormorant fishing shall be discontinued
1. For cormorant fishing downstream excursions, simplifications as per separate document
1. On ceremonial days, officials and foot-soldier inspectors shall wear ceremonial shoulder garments
1. Rounds by foot-soldier commanders shall be ordered once daily in the morning
However, quarters shall be discontinued, and when there is official business, they shall remain at the far end of the long hearth
1. Inspector overnight duty shall be discontinued, with duty assignments only during daytime
However, as before, matters of gate entry and exit shall be handled by guard inspection officials
1. The three-person guard duty shall be reduced by one person
1. Sword magistrate duty shifts shall be discontinued, however, they shall remain on duty until 9 o'clock during the day
