○三国湊締方古来ゟ之御定法猶又寛政七卯年正月被仰出候趣心得違無之様
且又去年來御趣法被仰付候に付未た無間事故湊中小前之者に至る迄商売柄に付落合
兼申達度品も候はヽ可申出候道理相分り候事は可及評儀折々時節を見合御自分
是迄不時に罷越候形合に而正智院へ相越可被取斗候
但下代共会所へ立合指出候儀は手抜無之様可被取斗候

存寄御尋被成其後追々取調諸産物を以御益筋之儀指当り三国并糸繭等之
事被仰出新規取扱故評儀落合兼可申処御益出来去年大造之御物入之端御
多足にも相成御満足に被 思召候各始夫々之手先之面々迄心を籠出精候事共於同
席も一段之儀に存候事に候聊之儀成とも永久御元増相成事に候へは是迄取調相
残候分猶又無油断取調候様江戸表ゟ被仰出委細之儀ハ当夏被為入候上可被遊
御聴と之御事に候左様可被相心得候
但其品に寄時節も有之儀に候へは当夏被為入候以前御執行ひにも相成儀は早速

一、右の申し渡しが済んだ後、御番頭の面々が御家老中へ連絡したところ、今日仰せ出された趣旨を御番組の
面々へ御家老中が直接申し渡すようにしたい旨、再度申し達しがあったため、翌十七日に御勘
定所において御番組の面々へそれぞれ番頭を加えて御家老中が申し渡した。

○去る丑年以来御鵜飼いを止めていたところ、今年より鵜の数を減少させ、その他の件についても従来の慣例にかかわらず
諸事御省略の件を御奉行らに仰せ出されたので、筒井仁右衛門より御奉行らに申し談じて取り計らうよう
申し聞かせるべきである。
一、鵜の数については九羽に限ること
一、餌取り、鵜籠持ちとして二人分の俵数を従来の定めの通り渡すこと
一、御留川の川番については御年限中の通り御鵜匠らに申し付けること

なされましたが、ようやく八歩の御借米に申し付ける趣旨にご決議があり、先達って一同に仰せ出された通りのことで
あります。この先の御運勢は今更のことでもなく、かねてより御苦労を思し召され、すなわち去る春に御直々に御元増の
心づもりをお尋ねになり、その後追々取り調べて諸産物をもって御益筋の件、差し当たり三国ならびに糸繭等の
ことを仰せ出され、新規取り扱いゆえ評議が落ち着かないと申すところ、御益ができて去年大層な御物入りの一端が御
多足にもなり、ご満足に思し召されています。各自をはじめそれぞれの手先の面々まで心を込めて出精したことは同じ
席でも一段のことと存じます。わずかなことでも永久に御元増になることでありますので、これまで取り調べて
残った分、なお又油断なく取り調べるよう江戸表より仰せ出され、詳細については今夏にお入りになった上でお聞きになる
とのことであります。そのように心得るべきです。
ただしその品によって時節もあることでありますので、今夏にお入りになる以前に御執行になることもあり、早速に

1. Regarding the number of cormorants, it shall be limited to nine birds
1. For feeding and cormorant basket carrying, provisions for two people shall be distributed according to previous regulations

○Regarding Mikuni port control methods, in accordance with ancient regulations and furthermore the matters announced in the 1st month of Kansei 7, Year of the Rabbit, there should be no misunderstanding. Also, since new policies have been implemented since last year, as it has not been long, from the port community down to the smallest merchants, there may be matters related to their trades that they cannot settle and wish to communicate. Matters that are reasonable should be subject to discussion, and occasionally observing the timing, you yourself
should proceed to Shochiin as has been the custom when going out unexpectedly, and handle the matter.
However, regarding subordinates attending and giving instructions at the meeting place, this should be handled without negligence.

○Previously, when the seven-year term expired and there was deliberation, His Lordship heard the details of financial management and formed his thoughts, but finally there was a decision to implement eight-bu rice loans, as was announced to everyone earlier. The future fortune is not a matter of recent concern, and His Lordship has long been concerned about this. Last spring, he directly inquired about intentions for financial recovery, and subsequently investigations were gradually conducted. Regarding profit-making through various products, immediately concerning Mikuni and silk cocoons, etc., new handling methods were announced. While these new arrangements made discussions difficult to settle, profits were achieved and even contributed to covering part of last year's enormous expenditures, greatly satisfying His Lordship. The dedicated efforts of everyone from each individual to their subordinates are considered exemplary even among peers. Even small matters contribute to permanent financial recovery, so regarding matters that remain from previous investigations, it was announced from Edo that they should continue to be investigated without negligence. Detailed matters will be heard when His Lordship arrives this summer. This should be understood accordingly.
However, depending on the items, there are matters of timing, so implementation may occur before His Lordship's arrival this summer, and should be done promptly.
