一天徳寺江盆中御施餓鬼料銀拾枚つヽ被供候処五ヶ年之間為半施餓鬼料

一御寺々江御作事方取扱に而毎年被遣候盆中丸桃灯杉手桶薄縁筵竹箒
之儀五ヶ年之間代銀積り之内一割引に而銀渡りに可取斗事

一先年ゟ打続御家中減御借米被 仰付次第に及困窮 御心痛被
思召に候得共外に御手当被成方も無之当年半減御借米上納御免被成下候右に付
御勝手弥御指支候事共に候御家中迚も当暮迄之処別而指支候趣
御聴へ相達聊成とも御手当筋厚申談候様被仰出候然ル処前段之通半減上納一ヶ
年御積相減御金積過分相遣之年柄故旁不被為任 思召候依之難儀之
面々於相願は御趣意銀之内を以拝借可被 仰付旨被 仰出候且又倹約之儀
度々被仰出儀に候間分而は不被 仰出候一体不融通困窮之処不相応之
儀も有之哉被相聞候心得違無之様被 仰出候

一、先年より打ち続き御家中減御借米を仰せ付けられ、次第に困窮に及び、御心痛に思し召されましたが、外に御手当てをなされる方法もなく、当年半減御借米上納御免をなし下されました。右につき御勝手はいよいよ御指支えの事共でありますが、御家中といえども当暮までのところ別して指支えている趣が御聴きに達し、聊かなりとも御手当て筋について厚く申し談ずるよう仰せ出されました。然るところ前段の通り半減上納一ヶ年の御積もりが相減り、御金積もりが過分に相遣う年柄故、ともに思し召しに任せられません。これにより難儀の面々が願い出た場合は、御趣意銀の内を以て拝借を仰せ付けられる旨が仰せ出されました。且つまた倹約の件は度々仰せ出されていることですから、分けては仰せ出されませんが、一体不融通困窮のところ不相応のことも有るやに相聞こえますので、心得違いのないよう仰せ出されました

1. Regarding meals provided when Takada Ryūsenin visits for prayers at the shrines of both residences, previously one soup and three dishes were served, but henceforth it shall be reduced to two superior dishes.
1. The expenses for offerings and rice offerings when Ogawa Saikū performs prayers at the three shrines in the kitchen quarters shall be reduced by one-tenth from the previous amount.
1. Same as above, offerings for the five seasonal festivals, temple festivals, and memorial days shall be treated similarly.
1. The silver offering of 10 pieces each for hungry ghost rituals during Bon at Tentokuji Temple shall be reduced to 5 silver pieces each for half-hungry ghost rituals for five years.
1. Regarding the round peach lanterns, cedar buckets, thin reed mats, and bamboo brooms sent annually to temples during Bon through the construction office, for five years these shall be handled with silver payment at a 10% discount from the estimated silver cost.

To all monthly duty officers
1. Due to continued reductions in rice loans to retainers from previous years, they have gradually fallen into hardship, causing His Lordship great concern. However, having no other means of assistance available, this year a 50% reduction in rice loan repayment has been granted. While this further strains the domain's finances, it has been reported that retainers are particularly struggling until the end of this year, so orders have been issued to discuss earnestly any possible assistance measures, however small. However, as mentioned above, with the one-year reduction in half-payments and excessive expenditure of reserve funds this year, things cannot proceed as His Lordship wishes. Therefore, it has been ordered that for those in particular difficulty who petition, loans may be granted from the special purpose silver fund. Furthermore, regarding frugality, this has been repeatedly ordered, so it will not be specifically mentioned again, but it has been heard that some inappropriate conduct occurs despite general financial difficulties and lack of flexibility, so orders have been issued to avoid such misunderstandings.
