右於板縁奉拝 台顔御太刀目録御奏者番披露退去畢而
御間之御襖障子《割書:隠岐守|但馬守》開之
御敷居際 立御御譜代大名其外一同 御目見相済

一大御所様え之献上物は隠岐守謁之
一年寄共殿上之間え相越而具志川会釈有之則退座其後大目付
差図而具志川退出大目付二人御玄関階之上迄送先達而従者
順々退出
但年寄とも之送無之
一御小姓組御書院番より出人五十人御書院番所に勤任
一大御番ゟ出人百人大広間四之間に勤任
於西丸琉球中山王使者具志川王子を以

一大広間二之間隠岐守右近将監始堀田加賀守小堀和泉守北之方
御襖障子際え附東之方え順々列座同三之間に御本丸西丸布
衣以上之御役人相詰御車寄板縁に御目付罷有
一中山王より所献上之品々先達而大広間二之間板縁西之方ゟ東へ並置
之具志川自分之進物は同三之間板縁東へ退而置之
但献上之御馬諏訪部八十郎支配之御馬乗二人庭上へ牽出
八十郎差添罷出候
一具志川殿上之間より大広間え大目付二人案内而松平薩摩守
同列而具志川大広間二之間敷居之内南之方二畳目に至而年

一、中山王より所献上の品々を先だって大広間二の間板縁西の方より東へ並べ置いた。具志川自分の進物は同三の間板縁東へ退いて置いた
但し献上の御馬は諏訪部八十郎支配の御馬乗二人が庭上へ牽き出し、
八十郎が差添えて罷り出た
一、具志川が殿上の間より大広間へ大目付二人の案内で、松平薩摩守と同列して、具志川は大広間二の間敷居の内南の方二畳目に至って年

The above paid respects to His Lordship's countenance on the wooden veranda, and after the ceremonial presenter announced the ceremonial sword catalog and withdrew,
the sliding screens of the lord's chamber {{marginal note: Oki-no-kami | Tajima-no-kami}} opened them
Standing at the threshold, the hereditary daimyo and all others completed their audience
and [the shogun] entered
1. For the offerings to Ōgosho-sama (the retired shogun), Oki-no-kami had an audience
1. The elders proceeded to the jōdan room and exchanged greetings with Gushikawa, then immediately withdrew. After that, the chief inspector gave instructions and Gushikawa departed. Two chief inspectors escorted him to the top of the entrance steps. The attendants had withdrawn in order beforehand.
Note: There was no escort by the elders
1. Fifty men from the page corps and shoin guard were assigned to duty at the shoin guard station
1. One hundred men from the great guard were assigned to duty in the fourth room of the Great Hall

Sequence of offerings to Ōgosho-sama
Twelfth month
1. In the second room of the Great Hall, beginning with Oki-no-kami and Ukon-shōgen, Hotta Kaga-no-kami and Kobori Izumi-no-kami were positioned against the northern sliding screens and seated in order toward the east. In the third room, officials of ho'i rank and above from both the main castle and Nishinomaru were present, and inspectors were stationed on the wooden veranda of the carriage entrance
1. The various items offered by the King of Chūzan were arranged beforehand from west to east on the wooden veranda of the second room of the Great Hall. Gushikawa's personal gifts were placed withdrawn to the east on the wooden veranda of the third room
Note: The offered horses were led out to the courtyard by two horsemen under Suwabe Hachijūrō's supervision,
with Hachijūrō accompanying them
1. Gushikawa was guided by two chief inspectors from the jōdan room to the Great Hall, in the same rank as Matsudaira Satsuma-no-kami. Gushikawa proceeded to the second tatami on the southern side within the threshold of the second room of the Great Hall and [addressed] the year[s]...
