一薩摩守御次御襖之外際南向着座
一具志川殿上之間より大広間へ大目付二人案内而二之間諸大夫之御譜

右出座御下段御敷居之内に而 御目見御奏者番披露之御下段
上ゟ四畳目迠被 召出之今度琉球之使者遠路召連大儀被
思召之段 上意有之年寄共御取合申上御次々退座■時右近将監
召之具志川 御前え可差出旨被 仰出之権御次
御諚之趣薩摩守へ右近将監達之
但具志川御礼之内薩摩守御襖之外に扣罷有
一中山王より所献上之品々
出御已前より南之板縁東西より 御目通り順々並置
具志川自分之進物も同事に並置
但献上之御馬諏訪部三之介支配之御馬乗二人庭上に牽出三之介差添罷出
一献上之御太刀目録御奏上番持出御下段上より三畳目置之中山王分
披露具志川出席 御下段下ゟ二畳目に而奉九拝而退去御太刀

一右近将監 召之具志川義遠境相越大儀被 思召旨被
仰出之於御次
え薩摩守ゟ達之御請申上其趣右近将監え薩摩守述之
一具志川重而出席自分之御礼於板縁三拝御奏者番披露
退座大目付二人案内而殿上之間へ同列下段着座薩摩守も

一、具志川は殿上の間より大広間へ大目付二人の案内で、二の間諸大夫の御譜代大名前に西に向いて着座した
松平薩摩守
右が出座し御下段御敷居の内にて御目見得、御奏者番が披露した。御下段上より四畳目まで召し出され、「今度琉球の使者を遠路召し連れ大儀に思し召される段」の上意があった。年寄共が御取合いを申し上げ御次々に退座した時、右近将監を召し、具志川を御前へ差し出すべき旨を仰せ出された。権御次にて御諚の趣を薩摩守へ右近将監が伝達した。
但し具志川御礼の内、薩摩守は御襖の外に控えて在った
一、中山王より所献上の品々
出御以前より南の板縁東西より御目通り順々に並び置いた
具志川自分の進物も同様に並び置いた
但し献上の御馬は諏訪部三之介支配の御馬乗二人が庭上に牽き出し、三之介が差添えて罷り出た
一、献上の御太刀目録を御奏上番が持ち出し御下段上より三畳目に置いた。中山王分を披露し、具志川が出席して御下段下より二畳目にて九拝を奉じて退去した。御太刀目録を奏者番が引いた
一、右近将監を召し、具志川義が遠境より相越し大儀に思し召される旨を仰せ出された。御次にて薩摩守より伝達し、御請けを申し上げ、その趣を右近将監へ薩摩守が述べた
一、具志川が重ねて出席し自分の御礼を板縁にて三拝、御奏者番が披露した。退座して大目付二人の案内で殿上の間へ、同列下段に着座した。薩摩守も殿上の間へ退去した

Matsudaira Satsuma-no-kami
The above came forward and had an audience within the threshold of the lower dais, announced by the ceremonial presenter. He was summoned up to the fourth tatami from the upper part of the lower dais, and received the shogun's words: "We are grateful that you have brought the Ryukyuan envoys from such a distant land." The elders made their responses and withdrew to their respective anteroom in turn. At that time, Ukon-shōgen was summoned and ordered to present Gushikawa before His Lordship. In the deputy antechamber, Ukon-shōgen conveyed the substance of the lord's words to Satsuma-no-kami.

1. Various items presented by the King of Chūzan
Before the lord's appearance, they were arranged in order from east to west on the southern wooden veranda for the lord's inspection
