     時服  十    中山王へ  大納言様ゟ      同断       同人え  右之通被遣物衆前より大広間御下段に並置之御襖障子  明置之具志川に為見畢而大目付二人差図而四之間へ具志川  退御襖障子御同朋頭両人に而内之方より閉之  大御所様ゟ      綿  百把    具志川王子え  大納言様ゟ      同断       同  人え  右西之御縁ゟ進物番持出之大広間三之間上ゟ一畳隔而中通り  ■を並へ東西へ長く置之大目付二人案内而則具志川二之間  中央迄出座于時  大御所様 大納言様ゟ被下旨隠岐守但馬守伝之一礼畢而三之  間へ退責【席ヵ】拝戴畢而大目付二人差図四之間へ退座被下物御車  寄之方へ進物番引之具志川殿上之間へ退去大目付二人令案内 一年寄共へ薩摩守一礼有之而殿上之間え退座 一殿上之間に而中山王え披遣物之目録并隠岐守但馬守ゟ之返翰  大目付二人持参而具志川え渡ス 一具志川退出大目付二人御玄関階之上迄見送      但年寄とも之送り無之 一三之間に御本丸西丸布衣以上之御役人相詰御車寄板縁に罷在 一御小姓組御書院番より出人五十人御書院番に勤任 一大御番より出人百人大広間四之間に勤任

時服  十    中山王へ 大納言様より      同断       同人へ 右の通り遣わされる物を衆前より大広間御下段に並べ置き、御襖障子を明け置いて、具志川に見せ終わった。そして大目付二人が指図して四の間へ具志川を退かせ、御襖障子は御同朋頭両人にて内の方より閉じた。 大御所様より      綿  百把    具志川王子へ 大納言様より      同断       同人へ 右を西の御縁より進物番が持ち出し、大広間三の間上より一畳隔てて中通りに■を並べ東西へ長く置いた。大目付二人の案内で、すぐに具志川は二の間中央まで出座した。この時 大御所様・大納言様より下される旨を隠岐守・但馬守が伝え、一礼し終わって三の間へ退席し、拝戴し終わって大目付二人の指図で四の間へ退座した。下される物は御車寄の方へ進物番が引いた。具志川は殿上の間へ退去し、大目付二人が案内した。 一、年寄共へ薩摩守が一礼があって、殿上の間へ退座した 一、殿上の間にて中山王へ遣わす物の目録並びに隠岐守・但馬守よりの返翰を大目付二人が持参して具志川へ渡した 一、具志川が退出し、大目付二人が御玄関階の上まで見送った      ただし年寄共の送りは無し 一、三の間に御本丸・西丸の布衣以上の御役人が相詰め、御車寄板縁に罷り在った 一、御小姓組・御書院番より出人五十人が御書院番に勤任した 一、大御番より出人百人が大広間四の間に勤任した

After the viewing was completed, two chief inspectors directed Gushikawa to withdraw to the fourth room, and the sliding screens were closed from the inside by two head attendants. Guided by two chief inspectors, Gushikawa immediately came out to the center of the second room. At this time: Oki-no-kami and Tajima-no-kami conveyed that these were bestowed by Ōgosho-sama and Dainagon-sama. After bowing once, [Gushikawa] withdrew to the third room, completed the ceremonial reception, and withdrew to the fourth room as directed by the two chief inspectors. The bestowed items were taken by the gift officials toward the carriage entrance. Gushikawa withdrew to the jōdan room, guided by the two chief inspectors. 1. Satsuma-no-kami bowed once to the elders and withdrew to the jōdan room. 1. In the jōdan room, two chief inspectors brought and presented to Gushikawa the catalog of items to be sent to the King of Chūzan as well as reply letters from Oki-no-kami and Tajima-no-kami. 1. Gushikawa departed, with two chief inspectors seeing him off to the top of the entrance steps.      Note: There was no seeing-off by the elders. 1. In the third room, officials of cloth-garment rank and above from the main castle and Nishinomaru were present, and they remained on the wooden veranda of the carriage entrance. 1. Fifty men selected from the page corps and guard corps were assigned to serve in the guard corps. 1. One hundred men selected from the great guard corps were assigned to serve in the fourth room of the Great Hall.
