最初は渡辺弥二右衛門某という者の方へ養子に行き、その節に
京都で矢数を仕ったので堂帳には渡辺勘介とあった。その後養父弥二
右衛門に実子が出生したため、お断り申し上げて本家へ帰った。

現在 山形多次右衛門伊次《出身国は越前》
嫡子であったが、父正次の射術の伝授が器に当たらないため、嫡孫に家伝を授けることになり、
これにより伊次は家禄を受けなかった。
