忠昌公の御代から光通公の御代まで御家老職を相勤めた。吉次の祖父
毛受小三郎（名乗り不明）は三州田原の城主であったと申し伝えられている。その子孫兵衛は
三州小山に隠居していた。妻は長勝院様の御妹永見淡
路守吉英の娘である。その子志摩吉次は秀康公に召し出された。
忠昌公が五歳の御時に御守役に仰せ付けられ、大坂の御陣の前、駿州
府中において権現様（徳川家康）の上意により、秀康公の御外戚の称号永見に
改めた。この節、御懇意の上意にて御錣頭巾（浅黄段子）、御肩衣（茶色段子）を
下し置かれ、その後御伽羅（御自筆の御書付有り）を下された。大坂御帰陣の折、権現様の
御前へ召し出され、忠昌公の御高名の場所を御直々に御尋ねになったが、
その節遥かに乗り隔たって居たため不在であった。その後道明寺口の辺りを
通る節、乗馬の口付きの者に着せ申した相印の羽織並びに敵の

Summoned to service at Yuki during Lord Hideyasu's reign (year unknown)
● Nagami Shima Yoshitsugu (original province unknown, birth province Mikawa, surname Fujiwara, original name Menju Chūzaemon)
He served as chief retainer from Lord Tadamasa's reign through Lord Mitsumichi's reign. Yoshitsugu's grandfather
Menju Kosaburō (name unknown) is said to have been the lord of Tahara Castle in Sanshū. His descendant Hyōbē
lived in retirement at Koyama in Sanshū. His wife was the daughter of Nagami Awa-
no-kami Yoshihide, younger sister of Chōshōin-sama. Their son Shima Yoshitsugu was summoned to service by Lord Hideyasu.
When Lord Tadamasa was five years old, he was appointed as guardian. Before the Osaka campaign, at Fuchū in Sunshū,
by the command of Gongen-sama (Tokugawa Ieyasu), he changed to the surname Nagami as an in-law of Lord Hideyasu.
At this time, by gracious command, he was granted a ceremonial helmet hood (light yellow silk) and ceremonial vest (brown silk).
Later he was granted incense wood (with a handwritten note). Upon returning from the Osaka campaign, he was summoned before Gongen-sama,
who directly inquired about the location of Lord Tadamasa's distinguished service, but
