於所々走回仕候 秀康公被及 聞食被召出 忠直公御
代大坂両御陣御供仕冬御陣之節塀裏エ附候眨敵両人鑓

真田左衛門佐幸村ト鎗ヲ合セ討取之其砌 両御所様御

結城において召し出される
● 西尾仁左衛門宗次（本国は遠江、生国は不明、姓は不明、初名は久作、図書）
宮地久右衛門という者の子であり、初めは宮地久作と名乗った。その後、
遠州の住人西尾是尊という浪人のもとへ養子として行き、西尾久
作と改名した。遠州高天神において横田甚右衛門に仕え、その他
各地を渡り歩いて仕えていた。秀康公がお聞き及びになり召し出された。忠直公の御
代、大坂両陣にお供をした。冬の陣の際、塀の裏に隠れていた敵二人を槍
で兜を突いた。その兜には槍の傷跡があり、今でも所持している。夏の陣の際、
真田左衛門佐幸村と槍を交え討ち取った。その時、両御所様に御
目見えを仰せつけられ、黄金や御時服等を下された。忠直公からも御腰
物や御金等を下された。

During Lord Hideyasu's reign, Bunroku 2, year of Water Snake (1593)
Summoned to service at Yuki
● Nishio Jinzaemon Munetsugu (home province: Tōtōmi, birth province unknown, surname unknown, original name: Hisaku, [also called] Zusho)
He was the son of one called Miyachi Kyūemon, initially taking the name Miyachi Hisaku. Later,
he was adopted by a masterless samurai named Nishio Koretaka, a resident of Enshū, and changed his name to Nishio Hisa-
ku. At Takatengjin in Enshū, he served under Yokota Jinemon, and elsewhere
he wandered and served in various places. Lord Hideyasu heard of him and summoned him to service. During Lord Tadanao's
reign, he accompanied [his lord] to both Osaka campaigns. During the winter campaign, he pierced with his spear the helmets of two
enemies hiding behind a fence. Those helmets bear spear wounds and he still possesses them today. During the summer campaign,
he crossed spears with Sanada Saemon-no-suke Yukimura and killed him. At that time, he was granted an audience with both Their Lordships
and received gold, ceremonial robes, and other gifts. From Lord Tadanao as well, he received
swords, gold, and other rewards.
